The management at Honda Chantilly has been extremely disappointing, particularly Shatabh and Borna, who exhibited unprofessional behavior. TL;DR: THEY STOLE THE CAR I SOLD THEM! !!! I sold my old car to this dealership on September 23 and gave them the title that same day. The paperwork I signed said I would get my check wi !!! The paperwork I signed said I would get my check within 48-72 hours, but it has now been 15 business days, and I still haven’t received it. I called multiple times over the past two weeks to ask about the check, but I’ve had a hard time getting any clear answers. Several employees said they would call me back, but they never did. When I called again today, I was told that the sales team hasn’t even sent my paperwork to accounting yet, and I’d need to wait another week. By that time, it will have been 20 business days, which is way longer than the promised 72 hours. Now when the phone rings to the sales department, it is unanswered, and I am instead redirected to service every time, so it's obvious that they are avoiding me. What makes it worse is that the dealership already has my old car listed for sale on their website, but I’m still waiting to get paid. I understand things can get busy, but this is not the level of service I expected from such a big, well-known dealership. If they had just communicated better and followed through on their promises, this experience could have been a lot smoother. I really hope they fix their process because this situation has caused me a lot of stress. If you’re thinking about selling your car here, be careful!!! . I’m still waiting for my check, but if I don’t get it soon, I’ll have to escalate this to corporate, spread this to all of my social media followers, and lawyer up. More

- Vehicle listed online less than what manager said it should be. Finance person did a hard inquiry with 4 different banks. - I noted to the sales and finance team that I was to apply $10,000 as a down payment and the finance person completed the full loan with my bank instead and shrugged it off suggesting I can just pay $10,000 as a payment to the loan instead of what I planned on doing. - Vehicle was not detailed properly prior to me driving home from the dealership. There were several areas that adhesive was previously applied on the windshield and dash and these were not removed. - My vehicle was purchased at just about 30K miles and the 30K miles service had not been completed prior to me purchasing. Imagine purchasing a vehicle for over what the list price was online but still settling and then spending over $1,000 to complete the recommended 30K service during the first week owning the vehicle. - I emailed the general manager and sales person on 5/26/24 requesting confirmation that their finance team had submitted the documents back to my bank as it was not showing up that it had been done. As of today 5/31/24 they have not gotten back to me, but have received advertisement from their team. - Several people told me not to go to Pohanka and I should have listened. More
