No pressure, easy going I sent out 3 emails to the local Honda dealerships in my area requesting the best price and availability on a 2017 Honda CRV EX AWD, white with black I sent out 3 emails to the local Honda dealerships in my area requesting the best price and availability on a 2017 Honda CRV EX AWD, white with black interior. Out of the 3 - one did not respond, one did not listen correctly and was pushy, but Bobby Maynard at Sims Honda listened and responded with what I wanted to hear on the first email. Bobby continued to throughout the day to answer all my emails and questions in a timely manner. Bobby advised that the specific Honda (color, make) would not be available for approx. 2 weeks. He said to come in and test drive a Honda CRV EX they had on the lot and if I liked it we could proceed and he would put me in a loaner car until the one I purchased came in. When my husband and I arrived to test drive the Honda CRV EX we worked with Mike O’Laughlin. Mike was very knowledgeable about the Honda CRV EX and explained all the bells and whistles (which there are many). Mike was a joy to work with. Mark Sumner was the finance manager we worked with and he did a great job as well. Processed us through in a timely and efficient manner. My overall experience with Sims Honda was great and I would definitely refer anyone looking to buy a Honda to them. Well worth the drive. More

Nice to find a straightforward no nonsense approach I can attest to a very pleasant interaction with Sims Honda purchasing a used Honda Ridgeline. Don't buy here! I used to shop here, but not anymore! I had to call for their help with a key that came with a car that I bought from them. Apparently, they gave me t I used to shop here, but not anymore! I had to call for their help with a key that came with a car that I bought from them. Apparently, they gave me the wrong key years ago and I never had a reason to need it...until recently. I called and told them the story and service said that I had to talk to Sales to 'Authorize' the work. They transferred me to the receptionist, Veronica, who hung up on me. I called back, insisted on talking to a manager and got Troy. Troy said that I would have to bring it so they could see what was going on. Mind you, never an apology. No, 'Gee, that sucks, sorry to hear that we gave you the wrong key.' Never was there an assurance that, as a long time customer, they'd take care of me. Nope, I had to bring it in for them to even look at it. I explained that it was pretty simple, the key didn't work, and I didn't think we needed to drive up to have an expert tell us that. I asked if they could work with a closer dealership to accomplish the work on the part since I bought it from them and it was reasonable to expect this brand new (just out of the box) part to work. He told me I was being rude and condescending. That's right. I was ruining his day by holding him accountable to fixing the key they gave me. By this time, I had decided to just share my experience and I told him that I would not be coming back. Then he told me, 'Oh, so you're threatening me now.' !!!! I explained to him that when a business provides terrible customer service, those customers share...in some cases with the internet. Finally talked to Bobby Maynard and he didn't seem to care that I wasn't coming back. I even pointed out how it would have been a great opportunity to sit me down in a new car while they fixed my key....Nope, no worries in the world for Bobby. He could care less. Bottom Line: Do yourself a favor and do business with someone who will treat you like a human being. Please avoid Sims like the plague. More
