Last new vehicles I purchased were a 2003 Odyssey and a 2006 RV. Needless to say when I decided to get a new vehicle in 2023 I was walking into a new universe! Lots of waiting, very computerized and difficult to get the preferred color. Going to Honda of Ames led me to Cameron Evans and Nate Yassie who provided respectful, professional and educational services! Within 2-3 weeks of my first contact I was driving my new Odyssey home-and in the color I wanted!! I can't say enough about how they made this a fun and de-stressed experience!! Thanks guys!! B. I was told it would take 1 hour for an oil change & tire rotation so I said I'd wait in the customer service area. 2 1/2 hours later the service advisor came & told me they had mistakenly parked my CRV in t rotation so I said I'd wait in the customer service area. 2 1/2 hours later the service advisor came & told me they had mistakenly parked my CRV in the wrong place and it had yet to be serviced & it would take another 1/2 hour. Then a tech came out & showed me a very dirty engine air filter & asked if I wanted it changed. I said yes. After 3 hours they sent me on my way saying there would be no charge for the service. When I got home and looked at the paperwork I'd been given there was no invoice stating what service work had actually been done. I checked the oil, it looked clean, but the air filter had not been changed. I called & requested a service invoice for my records. I was told I'd receive one in the mail but none has arrived. Overall this was a very aggravating service experience.....I doubt I'll go back for future service. More
