I just bought a 2009 honda civic and and I love it. At Sam Swope they really care about their customers and will fight for you. David Lail is undoubtedly the man to go to if your credit is in bad shape, I didnt even put any money down and still got a 5% interest rate on a $18,000 car!! The sales guy David was so helpful and wanted to truly help me and it wansn't typical Salemans "Bull" he was sincere and wasn't worried about how much money was going in his pocket but truly helping me out of a sticky situation. I got a great car with very low miles and really exaclty what I wanted. The Finance Director David was AMAZING. He got me financed, with a much lower payment than what I had at an awesome rate with my hurt credit. I must say, if you need a new or used car and want to deal with some Awesome people, go to Sam Swope Honda, and even if it isn't a Honda your in the Market for, go to Mark Dutton and he can help you as Swope has a Mall of cars and he can help you and David Lail can get you financed when everyone else won't!!! I don't even know where to start. I leased my first car from Sam Swope in 2004; a V6 Accord LX. Since then, I've leased a Civic EX, and a CRV EX. Today, I leased a new CRV EX AND purchased a two-year-old from Sam Swope in 2004; a V6 Accord LX. Since then, I've leased a Civic EX, and a CRV EX. Today, I leased a new CRV EX AND purchased a two-year-old Accord LX. On my first lease, I was 21 with not so great credit. David Lail was able to work with me and my credit and secured the deal. When it came time to trade that one in, my credit had taken a bit of a hit....I had emergency surgery and racked up tons of medical bills I couldn't pay. It was this visit I was introduced to Lamont Chandler as my salespro. He was patient, informative, and honest. David Lail was able to work the deal again, and I left there pretty confident that this would be the only place I would ever purchase a car from again. After the birth of my second child, the Civic just wasn't big enough. I decided on the CRV, which is by far, the best car I've ever owned. I was a bit over on mileage for the Civic, but even with that, David was able to get me into the CRV at a very fair price. My husband purchased a 2001 Accord EX (not from Sam Swope) in 2004. It's getting older, and has almost 175000 miles. In order to keep the car allowance he receives from his employer, we had to get him into a newer, more reliable car. We had been looking over the past few months, but were nervous about having another car payment. I contacted Lamont and told him what we were looking for. We went in to test drive some cars and go over some pricing. It was during this meeting that we realized another payment on top of the CRV lease was going to be tough. I inquired about downsizing the CRV to get a smaller payment. I'm not sure how it all happened---but we were able to get me into a NEW CRV lease and BUY a two-year-old Accord for LESS than we wanted to spend. Understanding that everything discussed would be contingent on credit approval, etc., we had a figure in our heads. Not only did they meet our expectations but they EXCEDED them by coming in a few dollars under what we wanted. HOW DOES THAT EVEN HAPPEN? I am sitting here telling you what I'm willing to pay, and instead of being taken advantage of, we were given a great deal. Even though I had nothing but great experiences in the past, this one blew my mind. My husband and I went to lunch while paperwork was being processed and deals were being finalized. While waiting for food, Jeff (my husband) said, "I have a feeling we're going to get back there and it's going to be more than we want to pay." I tried to tell him to quit being pessemistic and to have faith that they would treat us as well as they had in the past. On our drive back, he said, "If this ends up coming in at what we want to pay, I'll take back everything I ever said." Boy, he has a lot to take back. I'm not sure why he HAD such a negative impression, since we'd never received anything but exceptional service and fair prices. Regardless of why he thought the way he did, his view has totally changed. I can sit here and say, with 100% honesty and certainty, that I will NEVER puchase a car anywhere else. Not only were we treated with the best service you could imagine, we even had to leave to pick up our children, and they had four or five people working on our loans to expedite the process. I felt so special and important that everyone took the time to help. This is something I would expect for someone with perfect credit who is buying a car that costs more than my house. But for us? Just average people? I am still amazed at the service we received. David Lail and Lamont Chandler, I commend you for loving what you do and caring about your customers. It shows. Dennis, I appreciate you taking the time to help expedite the signing process so we could pick up our children on time. And to all of the staff that asked if I needed anything while we were waiting, it's obvious that you, too, are about your customers. Thank you, thank you, thank you! More

My daughter was buying her first new car from Swope Honda. Nick took extra time to explain the car-buying process to her, and was thorough in showing her the features of her Civic (even before she had Honda. His no-pressure, friendly approach helped make the entire process enjoyable for her (and me). He is the best salesperson I have ever worked with. David took care of all the financial dealings for us. He went well beyond the required "checklist" items, explaining the financing in a way a first-time buyer could understand. We got an outstanding interest rate. Even though a young person can be overwhelmed with the financial process, David made this an enjoyable, learning experience for my daughter. Along with Mark, David Lail and Jeff Jennings, they worked diligently with Honda to make certain that I walked away with what I wanted. They were always courteous, mindful of my situation and very attentive to what I wanted in a vehicle. I have always driven a Ford, but due to issues with Ford Motor Credit, I have swayed from the "blue oval" name plate...and I am a Ford employee!
