I went to several dealers and my search for a car was almost a year long. I finally ended up at Sam Swope Honda and loved it. I didn't feel pressure to buy a car and felt that they worked with me to find a fair price to both me and them. I thought the transaction was smooth and I got exactly what I wanted. Eric Marshall was my sales consultant and he was great and very professional. I was a little nervous being a first time buyer but Eric made me very comfortable. He explained everything in great detail and allowed me to make the best decision. He did not pressure me into anything like most other sales consultants. The thing that struck me most about Sam Swope Honda, Eric and Rick (Sales Manager) was that they weren't only trying to sell me one car and make a quick buck, they wanted to win my business for life, which they did. They know one thing and that is excellent service and that is why I ultimately bought my 2012 Honda Civic from them. The Swope Auto group takes care of it's people when you buy a car from them. It's rare that you find people dedicated to customer satisfaction and that want what is truly best for the buyer. They did not attempt to sneak anything past me and that's what I was looking for. If you are looking for a great place to buy a car, I highly recommend Sam Swope Honda World. Go down and find Eric Marshall and take a test drive. You won't be disappointed. More

In previous visits to Sam Swope Honda World I received the required express service needed for my 2008 Honda Accord. He initially thought the service would require 2.5 hrs, but the work was completed (w/free carwash), in 1.75 hrs. He also had given a cost estimate that exceeded what I actually ended up paying. That is ALWAYS GREAT NEWS!!! I believe it was a shoe salesperson who provided me with this level of service...about 2 decades ago! I bought a Honda Oddyssey yesterday from Andy Simmons. It was the best car purchase experience I have ever had. I searched for the "Right Deal" for about 4 weeks across 7 states (the internet is a great It was the best car purchase experience I have ever had. I searched for the "Right Deal" for about 4 weeks across 7 states (the internet is a great way to find a deal). Finally a friend told me about Andy and he was right. Andy was professional and understanding. We did most of the negotiating on the new vehicle via email and phone and arrived at a great price. At that point I drove the 2.5 hours to their store to finalize the deal. Andy and I talked about my trade (I had 4 other dealers appraise it before I found Andy) and Sam Swope gave me the most money of any dealer for it. Honestly, I was expecting $500 to a $1000 less than they offered. Andy was knowledgable about the car and the extra incentives for being a Sam Swope customer. This was the only place I visited that did not play the back and forth game that we all hate so much. I could not be more impressed and will recommend all my friends to make their next purchase with Andy. More

At first I was undecided on new or used, and not sure which type of Honda I would prefer. We also looked at several other options in other used vehicles as well. She was very patient, kind and easy to work with in making my purchase. I ended up leasing a 2012 Honda Civic LX and am very content with my choice. She also was very accommodating in arranging her personal assistance in transporting my old vehicle (non trade in) back to my home. Thank you, Jamie! More

My brother, who has purchased 3 other Hondas at this dealership, accompanied me. My only negative comment has nothing to do with any of the people who work at Swope Honda in Louisville. I was contacted by phone a few days after purchasing my Honda Civic by someone associated with Honda---a man with an accent who wanted to talk to me about my experience with Honda. That customer rep phoned me at 11:26 p.m., waking me out of a sound sleep. Do your phone reps not look at the Time Zones when they call people?! I told this caller what time it was, and expressed that it was inappropriate for him to be calling me at almost midnight. All he did was read from his script, saying something like "when would be a better time for me to contact you?" No apology for calling so late. It was very irritating to receive a call at that time of night. The phone number that appeared on my caller display was 26669-6687. That is exactly how the number appeared, no area code. More
The service is fantastic every time I go to have my oil changed etc. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. I highly recommend, most people say that taking your car to the dealer for service is too expensive, but that is not the case with Sam Swope, with the VIP Club you get so many awesome deals and coupons in the mail when it's time for service! I wouldn't take my car anywhere else! More
