Tried to tell me that my car's transmission issue was not covered by my extended warranty. The warranty company i was told to call then said my issue was covered by my HONDA warranty. Then, after they de not covered by my extended warranty. The warranty company i was told to call then said my issue was covered by my HONDA warranty. Then, after they determined the issue was not my fault (not a clutch issue), they test drove it and "weren't able to duplicate the issue". I will be taking my car to another Honda from now on- there are at least two more in the city. More
Damon was awesome, five stars across the board. He held open the door for my mom and I as we arrived, and was extremely pleasant to work with. This is the third Honda we gotten from Sam Swope Honda. The salesperson we dealt with last time was out of country so Nick stepped in. The way he treated us you would have thought we were his regular customers. The process involved turning in a lease and deciding on a replacement. He was extremely helpful and knowledgable about what had to happen. With that behind us we started the process of finding a new vehicle. Our intial thought was a Pilot. We went on a test drive and decided on that vehicle. We went home and then called Nick to get the vehicle the next Sunday. When we arrived at the dealership, my wife walked in the showroom, saw a Honda Accord EX sitting there and said she wanted that vehicle instead. Even though the Pilot was ready for us, Nick made the switch and got the Accord ready. This whole experience was handled at the highest level of professionalism. I told Nick when I was leaving and I'll say it again, Nick made this one of the most comfortable, stress-free car buying experiences we have ever had. Thanks Nick for an outstanding job! More

Once the sale was made we then were introduced to David Lail the director of finance and Ryan Carter the Business Manager. We had extinuating circumstances and David went to bat with us and secured us phenonominal financing. We are beyond pleased with the entire process and will be forever customers. My experience with the entire Sam Swope staff far exceeded my expectations. The experience started during a conversation with Peggy Goldberg about leasing options on new vehicles. She introduced me t exceeded my expectations. The experience started during a conversation with Peggy Goldberg about leasing options on new vehicles. She introduced me to Andre Uchitel who help me pick out a vehicle and explain in simple terms all of my purchasing options. One of the managers, Chuck, welcomed me to the dealership and answered additional questions while arranging for an extended test drive. The process of learning my options and appraising my vehicle was very smooth. After ordering the vehicle, Andre kept in close communication and my new vehicle arrived within four days. Even though there are many steps before a customer can actually take delivery of a vehicle, each employee who helped with various aspects of the process made me feel like they genuinely valued my business. Kevin Boone reviewed insurance information with me; Frank Carter reviewed all of the financial documents in a very simple way; and Dylan did a great job customizing the features on my vehicle before I left. What strikes me most about this experience, is that it felt like I was in partnership with each of these Sam Swope employees to select, finance, and take delivery of an amazing vehicle. Every person took pride in the role they played in the process, so I felt more like I was among friends then in a company's sales process. We recently came to Sam Swope Honda to trade in our car. The overall service we received was certainly beyond my expectations. Everyone we encountered was extremely courteous and beyond helpful in every way imaginative. The salesperson who helped us with our trade in was Shermon Sanders, he was excellent. He was extremely patient with us as we debated on which would be a perfect fit for our family. He understood our patience and walked us through every step on how to proceed. Through each test drive, Shermon was there to assist us and was very kind in all of his efforts. His assistance did not stop there, he stuck with us up until the very seconds we drove our new car off of the lot. In the Finance department, Kevin Carter was the gentleman who assisted us with all our financing questions and explaining our monthly payments in detail. Any questions we had, Kevin was eager to answer. Even if there was a question not in his ability to answer, he pointed us in the right direction. Kevin was a pleasure to work with and helped to make our experience at Sam Swope Honda World one of the best. Due to these experiences, my family and I will most certainly be considering Sam Swope Honda World our go to car dealership whenever we are in need! More

SAM “FOOLED YA” SWOPE We drove 2 hours down to SAM “FOOLED YA” SWOPE We drove 2 hours down to Louisville from central Indiana to purchase a car and when we were 5 minutes away Sam Swope called us SAM “FOOLED YA” SWOPE We drove 2 hours down to Louisville from central Indiana to purchase a car and when we were 5 minutes away Sam Swope called us to tell us they were currently finishing the sale to someone else. We’d had an appointment for over a week to purchase this specific used car from them, and on the day of the appointment they called us several times asking a lot of questions- “how long is the drive”, “what time will you be here” etc etc. The car had been for sale at this dealer for 47 days, and “magically” sold right at the moment before our arrival, even when we had been on the phone with them 90 min earlier. Shady. We think they used our appointment as a motivational deadline for another interested party, or that the car listing was a bait and switch. They tried to interest us in another more expensive car, but we clearly do not want to give these hucksters our money. I am aware that a dealer works on a first come first serve basis, I come from a family of dealers- but this is bad (not to mention RUDE) business practice and should not be supported. I only post about this now because I believe if enough people boycott scummy businesses like Sam Swope Honda, it is possible they will eventually change their practices. Well, time to warm up my fingers to go post about this to my 100k+ social media followers. More
I was really pleased with the service I received at Sam Swope Honda World with Ben Matlin, in new car sales. Thye had to order my car for me and I'm happy to say I received it in less than 2 weeks. I love my new CRV and am glad I purchased it from Sam Swope. I had purchased a Pontiac Gran Am from Sam Swope several years ago. If you are looking to purchase a new Honda, I highly recommend Ben Matlin at Sam Swope Honda.
