I wasn't seriously looking to buy a car since I had just bought one, but my mind I had an excellent experience at Sam Swope Honda on November 2, 2014. I wasn't seriously looking to buy a car since I had just bought one, but my mind was open to potentially a better deal. Lionel Jordan (Sales Consultant) patiently let me test drive 3 different Honda Accords before I found the one that I liked better than the car I had just bought. Lionel was very helpful, professional, knowledgeable and very patient with me. He didn't try to sell me a car so much as he did a good job listening to what my needs were. He helped the whole sales process move along very smoothly. I felt like I got a good deal on the Accord and am still happy with my purchase. This is the 2nd car that I've bought with Sam Swope. The first one was a Mitsubishi eclipse. I trust that the Honda service department will do as good of a job helping me maintain my car as the Mitsubishi service department did. The only thing that did not sit well with me was after we negotiated a price and began to complete the paperwork, I was only then told that there will be a $399.40 dealer's preparation charge. This should be told during the negotiation stage with the price. The customer has no way of knowing this charge is coming in advance. It feels like an unfair business practice. I understand not figuring sales tax and license into the negotiation. Customers expect this and know this is coming, but not a dealer's preparation charge. The other place that I bought the other car did not throw this in at the last minute. I say to Sam Swope, "stop doing this!". This is no fault of Lionel. He is an excellent sales consultant and a good all around person! Ask for Lionel Jordan should you go to Sam Swope to shop for a Honda!! More

My experience with this dealer actually started about 18 months ago when I was looking to replace my existing vehicle with something newer and more fu My experience with this dealer actually started about 18 months ago when I was looking to replace my existing vehicle with something newer and more fuel efficient. I made an appointment to test drive a 2013 Honda CRV via the website and was given an appointment to meet a salesman. For some reason the person whom I had an appointment with was not available but Doug Alsman said he would be happy to help us. After about 5 min my wife was not happy with a small detail on how the floorboard did not allow her to put her foot where she wanted it. Doug was understanding and treated us like friends while we drove back to the dealership in a car we had absolutely no interest in purchasing. Flash forward to October 2014 and we still have not switched cars and when I discovered some of the updates of the 2015 CRV My wife and I decided to go back to Swope Honda to see if the floorboard issue was resolved. It was actually Doug Alsman's great company that made us seek him out specifically for his help. After a quick test drive ( and wife's approval with the floorboard change) we decided we would like to purchase a CRV. As it was late and we had a few busy days Doug setup a time for me first thing on a Saturday to get everything going. Expecting the normal run around I brought a book, some headphones, my coffee and iPad to pass the time. I was pleasantly surprised when they let me know that everything was done and ready and all I had to do is come back in a couple of days when the color that I want could be procured. I could have been done even sooner, but I was trying to decide between two colors ( wife and daughter stopped by for color approval :) ). During the entire process Doug let me know just what was going on, what he needed, and about how long everything would take. I knew i was in for something different when I had to stop a card game on my IPad after Doug was only gone 4 minutes to get the pricing deals. I have not yet picked up the car but hope that I can continue this review with more accolades. More

Brought my 1990 Honda CRX SI back to life It turned out that my CRX SI needed a lot of repair work, but it was well worth it. The service advisor, Nick Scott, was very knowledgeable and inform It turned out that my CRX SI needed a lot of repair work, but it was well worth it. And the courtesy ride I received from home to the shop was very enjoyable, mostly by the good-natured conversation with the driver as well as the nice ride in the Odyssey. More

We were looking for a Honda CRV and rode over to Sam Swope Honda for the first time since it is not very close to our house. While looking, Lionel Jordan (Sales Consultant) came over to assist us. Lionel was very helpful, professional, knowledgeable and very patient with us. Thanks to Lionel the whole sales process was very painless. We felt we got a good deal on our trade-in. After completing the paperwork, we were met by a Honda Delivery Specialist (Inisha Brown) who explained about the car in great detail to us. She was also very knowledgeable, professional and helpful. I felt like he really wanted to help me to do what was best for me. I wish every car sales person was so honest and helpful. The second thing I was impressed with was the service shop. A day after I drove my new Civic off the lot, the air pressure light came on. To be honest, I feel like that was an oversight by the people who got my car together. They should have checked that and also cleaned the windshield, which was pretty dirty. But anyway, I digress. The service shop experience was new to me. I'm used to leaving a key with a mechanic and then sitting in a dingy shop waiting hours for news. Instead, I pulled into a clean, busy-looking garage, explained the situation, left my car and went into a nice waiting room where I could work. Then, when my car was finished, my service guy found me and I was on my way. It was a very smooth process. More
