I went to get my oil changed yesterday November 12th at Honda Santa Monica before we were leaving for a road trip. We got on the road very early this morning and during our drive noticed white smoke coming Honda Santa Monica before we were leaving for a road trip. We are now stranded in the mid dle of nowhere unable to drive and get to our destination. This is the most dangerous situation a dealership could leave you in. More

Honda service makes it nearly impossible to book service. From a time-consuming automated AI chat to the eventual link sent in their chat to a non-working page, finally there is a global number leading to a recorded phone loop during business hours. Was there any point leaving a message? I tried and yes, the business called back at the end of business hours telling me to call back again (not leaving a number). I go to the website to get the same useless number, get the same recorded message telling me to leave another message. You'd think it simple enough to set up an online system of booking. At the very least, farm out the calls to people who are in any number of locations, able to book service. Managers...do you read these reviews? Corporate office, do you read the reviews? Happy to find someone who needs the work and pay them instead. More
Ever since they moved to a new location, customer service has gone downhill. No one answers the phone and you can't leave a voice mail. When you try to leave a message the voice mail is full for the service manager. This is not a new problem but has been going on for almost a year. I recommend that customers go to another dealership, because this dealership provides terrible customer service. More

Lack of consideration with the consumer I called and asked how could i synchronize my cell phone with the screen of my honda car purchased at this dealership. I was told to go to this honda I called and asked how could i synchronize my cell phone with the screen of my honda car purchased at this dealership. I was told to go to this honda to get it done as they could not explain to me over the phone. So i drove 27 miles to this honda. When i arrived there i was told that they were not able to do the service. I consider this fraud, i called to complain and the responsable manager told me he would contact me as soon as he had an answer on how to do it. I was never contacted. Definitely i will never buy a car here again. More
Horrendous Service - Dont come here - Ever, For anything The guys ripped me off. To the tune of $800. I know, my fauld, I should have NOT trusted them and insisted on scrolling up to check the details. Only when I picked the car up and objected to the cost did they say "Oh, by the way, the document you signed says we can spend up to $1100 without needing to inform you". RIP OFF ARTISTS. I got a service I could have gotten for $120 at my local garage. More
SERVICE NIGHTMARE I tried to schedule service maintenance, left my call back no. 2x - no one called back after 5 hours. Was able to talk to somebody on the 3rd try, but I tried to schedule service maintenance, left my call back no. 2x - no one called back after 5 hours. Was able to talk to somebody on the 3rd try, but was put on hold, never picked up again and was redirected to a recording, on the 4th try I reached somebody again, but they hung up after complaining about being forwarded to "nowhere" on the previous calls. I wish there was a another service center close by. More

THIS DEALERSHIP LINKED TO CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR (see link below) We negotiated a decent price on a brand new 06 Honda Odyssey EXL, but when it came time to deal with the Finance Manager, Leila Behpourian below) We negotiated a decent price on a brand new 06 Honda Odyssey EXL, but when it came time to deal with the Finance Manager, Leila Behpourian she flat out lied to us. Leila Behpourian told us that the official extended warranty Honda -CARE "must be purchased at the time of sale". ( A BIG FAT LIE). I even asked that if I was to come back in a week and wanted to buy HONDA CARE coverage I would not be able to and she said I could NOT that I MUST buy at the time of purchase. I usually like to research the coverage and price for a day or two but Leila Behpourian's cheap lying tactics drove me to reluctantly purchase the coverage for $1590 at the time of purchase. I applaud good salesmanship with good skills.... but to LIE to customers is below the belt. When I called back to ask why she told me I had to make the warranty purchase at the time of sale Leila acted as if I never asked the questions I did. She basically continued her lies. I AM NOT A FOOL I know what I asked and I don’t like to be lied to. It is very sad that a salesperson such as Leila must use lies to make up for a lack of sales skills. I wonder if she really gave me the best interest rate or lied there too You would think after the legal troubles this dealership has been having that they would be cautious regarding the use of these tactics. (see link) Leila Behpourian gives the entire HONDA TEAM at HONDA of SANTA MONICA a bad name. I am canceling what she sold me and I found the EXACT SAME HONDA CARE coverage on the web for $930. A savings of $660. 42%. I can only hope it reverses out of her commission. UPDATE THIS DEALER HAS alleged CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR The owners and several ex employees are expected to pay 2 million dollars in civil damages and have criminal charges filed against them for ripping off customers.
