I apologize for the miscommunication. We do prioritize customers who wait at the dealership while their vehicles are being serviced. You may not have seen any in the lounge, but many customers go to the showroom to check out the new vehicles or walk around the lot. If we had known you wanted or needed your vehicle done by a certain time we would have done whatever we could to accommodate this. This should have been communicated to you and I apologize that it wasn't. It looks like we also did the passenger side airbag recall while your vehicle was in, this would have accounted for some of the extra time. Once again I am very sorry for the delay and lack of communication. I have placed a note in our system that your next oil change will be free. Matthew Schworer General Manager

I apologize that Rick did not handle the situation better. He heard you say to Ken that this all started when we rotated your tires back in April. Your review seems to be suggesting the same thing, that we somehow caused your tire to be unbalanced. Rick was trying to show you that the reason for the tires feeling unbalanced was due to the excessive amount of dirt that was caked onto your wheels. Unfortunately I cannot attach the picture of your wheel completely caked in dirt to this review, but I have emailed it to you. As you can clearly see this amount of dirt is definitely what was causing the problem, and remember this is after you had it washed twice. Having this amount of dirt on your wheels has thrown them out of balance so much that they needed to be rebalanced. We had to charge you $50 to clean all of the dirt off your tires because we could not have balanced them with the dirt on there and because our technicians obviously do not work for free. I’m not sure that admitting to customers that you charge $50 to wash the wheels is something that will help you with business. Those customers that read this will probably see things my way in that matter. I’m not trying to be the typical disgruntled, angry customer. Blaming a customer for an issue that is happening is never the right way to go from a customer service perspective. Anyways, I’m glad that you have acknowledged the issue and I appreciate your support. Thanks!

You paid a total of $40 to have your vehicle washed twice and as you can see from the picture there was still an enormous amount of dirt on your wheels so I would say $50 is a very fair price to pay to clean that amount of dirt off of your wheels. And we are not blaming you for anything, we were only trying to show you that the massive amount of dirt caked onto your wheels was what was causing your problem not a tire rotation that we performed three months ago. $20 for the 2 prior washes ($10 each), but we are done here. No sense in dragging this out. Thanks to Matthew for reaching out to me. This was just an unfortunate experience. The guys over at Performance in La Vista or Woodhouse in Blair would always make me feel valued as a customer. This was just different. Best of luck to you guys. I hope you get it figured out!

I apologize that your service advisor did not do a better job of explaining the work that your vehicle needed. Your SRS light is on, and as he explained to you this means that your airbags will no deploy if you are in an accident. It is part of his job to explain how unsafe this is. If your airbags do not deploy the chances of serious injury and death are drastically increased in the event of an accident, that is why all modern vehicles are equipped with airbags. Your airbags have all been replaced under the Takata airbag recalls, so there is no longer any threat of metal shrapnel being thrown at your face. In fact they were replaced on this service visit. I understand that this car has never been in an accident, but that doesn't mean it can't happen. If we did not stress to you how dangerous it is driving your vehicle in its current state, we would not only be risking your safety but also opening ourselves up to possible lawsuits if you were to get into an accident. Again, I apologize if the way your service advisor explained the risks you are taking driving your vehicle seemed extreme. I would rather they over emphasize how dangerous this is than to minimize your risks. Matthew Schworer General Manager
