I apologize that we did not have a factory air filter for your 2016 Acura MDX. We do not stock Acura air filters for that year/model because we do not see them in our service department very often. So, we offered you an aftermarket one. We always use factory parts when possible, but as a Honda dealer we do not stock a lot of Acura parts. As far as your tire rotation, it is no longer the case that they should be hand tightened. Terri tried to explain to you that wheels are now tightened using a special Torx Wrench that prevents the wheels from warping. It's very important to make sure the lug nuts are fully tightened to ensure the lug nuts do not work themselves loose causing the tire to potentially come off. That's why a Torx Wrench is now used.

I was not offered the after market one. I was not given the choice. I would have not accepted any after market product for my car! As for the tire rotation - I asked for hand tightened and was told you could honor that request! It was not given. Otherwise I would have left. If you don’t work on Acura then you should have accepted my car. Acura is a Honda.

You must have written this review before we spoke on the phone a little while ago. I apologize again that you are having issues with the Pilot you recently purchased from us. We have asked you to have your vehicle towed in several times today so that we can see what is going on with it. Both your service advisor and I have told you that we CAN get you a loaner vehicle while your vehicle is being repaired, but that Honda will not authorize a loaner vehicle for two weeks while you take it on vacation next week. I also assured you that we would do everything we can to make sure we get to the bottom of what is going on and that if you could leave the vehicle with us while you are on vacation that once we repaired the vehicle we would drive it multiple times after to make sure that what we did completely fixed the issues you are having. I also told you we would put one of our most experienced technicians on the job. Please get the car to us and we will get this taken care of for you. I spoke with the receptionist on duty today and she does not recall saying this, but I made sure she understands that I absolutely want any and every call from a customer with a question or concern.
