My wife and I were recently in the market for a new car. Honda Carland was one of the first dealerships that we visited. Trying to be savvy shoppers, we searched at a number of other lots (Honda and other brands), but in the end found that Honda Carland not only has one of the better selections of vehicles but also that they could offer us (by far!) the best deal on the car that we eventually bought (2009 Honda Fit). Instrumental in our positive experience was the representative who helped us, Jeff Greene. From our first visit, my wife and I felt that Jeff truly respected our needs. In no way did we ever feel pressure from him to buy more quickly or at a higher price than we wanted. Furthermore, he proved to be more than reasonable during the final negotiations. Since our purchase, I have called Jeff on two occasions to ask some general questions; he continues to be a very friendly and helpful resource. More

I was a little disappointed Harry had said they could install a 2nd DVD screen before we bought the car, but after we closed the deal he said they couldn't. But overall it was a good experience. More
We have dealt with Honda Carland for the last 11 years, the "Fit" is the 3rd vehicle we have purchased from them. Each and every sales experience we have had with Honda Carland has been excellent and we would not hesistate to go back for our 4th vehicle, or recommend this dealership to family, friends and others. Although Honda is the car that "sells itself", in the end it comes down to the people you are dealing with, for us Claude and Kevin made our buying experience just perfect! Im not sure about these other experiences I have read on here but I was warned about going through the grind with dealers, and I have to say Honda Carland backs up what they say!! I was shopping price and Gwinnett had a price not to be beat, but when I showed up all they did was beat me up till I left trying to charge me accessories I did not ask for nor need. Carland did warn me of this and was very honest from the beginning. They did not have the "mark ups" and my experience was great. Knowledgable salesperson, comfortable atmosphere, and quick and easy service and process. As far as I am concerned they have earned a customer for life in me and my family! I love my new accord!! Besides all that, there service department is the best as well, and I get money back towards other service or purchases that nobody else offers! More
Do not believe anything they tell you over the phone. I spoke with a salesman over the phone several times so that I could get a close estimate on my trade in and what they would sell their vehicle for. I was clear with him that it would take me over an hour to get there and I would have to arrange for a babysitter. He gave me an estimated price for my vehicle give or take $1,000 and a specific price for his. When I got there they told me it would cost me $3,000 more. No negotiations and they didn't even come off their asking price. They are sweet as sugar over the phone and when you get there they are rude and greedy. Don't go there. More
This dealer seems to be ripping off consumers wallet when it comes to car service. I have a 99 Honda Accord (about 120K miles on it) and this is the closest dealer to my place. Every time I have been there they gave me jaw dropping price estimates on my car service and not so good customer service. 1: I once lost the keys of my car on Friday night and called Honda Carland Saturday morning to get new keys. The service representative told me over the phone that they have new keys in stock and I should get my car pulled over to there service center. After getting my car towed over there they told me that they don't have any keys in stock and I can either keep the car at their service center over the weekend or get it towed back to my home and bring it back on Monday. Since I needed my car over the weekend I had to call another Honda dealer, took a cab to fetch new keys for Honda Carland service people and then they programmed it for me. 2: I had to get one of my wheel replaced once and Honda Carland gave me a price estimate of > $400 just to buy the wheel. After researching a bit I was able to get the same wheel for $226 from Gwinnett Place Honda. 3: For replacing the front engine mount, Honda Carland gave me a price estimate of $403(parts & labor) where as Curry Honda price estimate was only $235. I would say if someone needs their Honda serviced, research a bit for what other Honda Dealers are offering in your area (or do it yourself if you can) but at all cost try to avoid Honda Carland. I stopped in with three months left on the lease of my 2005 honda pilot to find out what they could do to get me into a new pilot now that I love the vehicle. I was told that dispite the fact that honda i 2005 honda pilot to find out what they could do to get me into a new pilot now that I love the vehicle. I was told that dispite the fact that honda is willing to sell the vehicle to me used after the lease for 19k, they were only willing to give me 15k for the trade towards a new pilot, and we're talking a midle of the road model nothing special. My miles are not over, and the vehicle is in great condition and never been in an accident. So, what I'm trying to figure out is how the residual value of this vehicle could possible be lower than the dodge that I had tank on me prior to leasing the honda. Meanwhile 2005 honda pilots are being sold on their used car lot next door for anywhere between 23k to 26k. I would call that a considerable discrepancy, and at best bad sales tactics. Honda has lost a customer. More
I went in to have my ignition switch replaced(which was a recall). I walked in the door, and basically I had to speak to everyone first, and the guy that "assisted" me, acted as if he didn't want to help me. recall). I had several employees just stare at me, without speaking. But on to the good points, I got to Honda Carland about an hour and a half early for my appointment(I had to drop my husband off at work, and he worked pretty close) and they allowed me to go ahead and get my car worked on, and it took only an hour, just like it was promised. Well the ignition switch works just fine, but their customer service sucks! They really need to go through training on customer service. I have had better customer service from Walmart. More
The best experience I've ever had getting my car fixed. My service advisor was very knowledgeable and asked all the right questions. He took a lot of time with me on a very difficult intermittent problem. He got the service manager involved who by the way was out front in the service department where anyone could speak to him. He was outstanding. He listened to me for 45 min., never doubted anything I told him and promised to look at the car himself. They were able to fix the problem within a half day. I had taken it to another dealer 7 times previously and they were never able to fix it. More
