I'm not usually one to write reviews but this so-called establishment is a total joke so I'm warning others. Just bought a vehicle on Monday night, not less than 48 hours ago. Salesman was great so-called establishment is a total joke so I'm warning others. Just bought a vehicle on Monday night, not less than 48 hours ago. Salesman was great I must admit and very helpful and friendly. Very easy car buying experience. Seemed a little too easy to be honest, especially from a car dealership. Nonetheless, bought a 2003 Nissan. All good. Day later, hear a rattling coming from rear of vehicle while driving. Called and asked to bring it in to be looked at. "Sure", come right in. Here is where my blood begins to BOIL as I write this. Was told by nice serviceman that vehicle basically has old rear shocks and then quoted price of parts. Ok, so maybe this is me being naive, but I would think when you spend a large amount of money on a vehicle from a supposed "reputable" dealership, the car would be in good condition and decent working order otherwise the car would not be sold and I could have taken my money to a Buy Here/Pay Here and threw not only caution to the wind, but my money as well. When I approached a Sales manager, was told that there was nothing he could do because the car was old and it happens and it also wasn't a safety issue. WAIT A MINUTE...WHAT??? Bad shocks are not a saftey issue?? Then told an excuse about it costing money to fix old parts because as long as they worked and wasn't a safety issue, then it's okay. Sorry but wrong. How does a dealership justify selling used cars at these prices with rattling parts? Being naive again. Then when confronted about it, get berated not only by a sales manager BUT the used car sales manager as well like I was the one with problem. A shame! Was hoping this issue could be fixed easily, especially since I JUST bought the car, and hoping for great customer service, but I guess not. I know, I know.....naive. This so-called reputable "got your money now get lost" establishment is not the place for car buyers. Friends and family will definitely be warned!! Please take your hard earned money and go elsewhere!! More
Nothing but lies, if there mouth is open, they are lieing! Got a $25 gift card coupon from Carland sight. Just come in! Well I just came in and I bought a new car, but never got the card. While its a lieing! Got a $25 gift card coupon from Carland sight. Just come in! Well I just came in and I bought a new car, but never got the card. While its a small amount, it just shows that they could care less about anyone once the dotted line is signed. So if you choose to deal with these losers, once they have your money, don't let the door hit you in the butt! One week after buying a new car the low air warning light came on. Tires that should have been checked before delivery were 6 p.s.i. Below the required amount. And the card that comes with every new car showing the radio security code was missing. This dealer is just SORRY! With all the Honda dealers in the Atlanta area, please check out the others before getting the shaft at Carland. Just read all the pissed off customers. At Honda Carland, the deal is not complete until each and every customer is TOTALLY PISSED OFF! Update march 6 2013, I did get an e-mail from George foster who said that he would make sure that I did get the gift card. I suspect it will take 2-3 weeks so ill keep you posted on the out come. Update 3-13-13, I did finally get a notice that the gift card was being sent! I have to thank George foster for getting that taken care of. But he also said that he would get the security code that did not come with the car, he has not so far done that. Also, the service dept. has a (well, what did you do to it attitude) air when asking the simplest of questions and a response that's at best not proper for a dealer who claims to be one of the best. Example: I've owned some high end cars in my time and in the past 10 years, computers have made the information very close to perfect. When the low fuel light comes on the manual says that this happens when the car is about 12 gal. low and the tank holds 13.2. so I stop and fill up. But the car will only take 10 gallons to fill. This means that 3.2 gal. was still in the tank. So what the car and manual say are very different. The service dept. did not want to be bothered with this. I think the warning light should only come on when you have 30 to 50 miles left. Remember this is Honda of America's claim not mine. The service dept. claim is that the warning light is only an avg., not accurate. My point is that Honda and Honda Carland claim to be professionals! I think that they have some work to get there. The good news is that I love the 2012 civic lx I purchased. I'm older and don't need the get anywhere in a hurry. So I keep mine on the Eco mode and I'm really getting 36 m.p.g. And that's not on the hwy. So, Honda really makes a great car! There is a old saying of (don't shoot the messenger). Well I think this is what is happening at Honda. The people who are at the top are demanding big numbers and objectives from the low end employee that are almost impossible to do. So, the customer gets the shaft so the numbers can be made and they can keep there job. I can't say that you will do much better at any of the other 15 Honda dealers in the Atlanta area, but keep you eyes wide open when buying a car. The consumer has the power to just walk out and think before spending that much money on any thing. Before getting to the dealer, stop and turn on the record app on your smart phone. Buying a car is complex. This will help you when your deciding, because you can go back and listen to what was said to clear up any question you may have. Good Luck! More
I came to Honda Carland not having bought a vehicle from a dealership before. Within 30 seconds of exiting my vehicle I was politely and enthusiastically greeted by Jacob. He immediately asked me what I w a dealership before. Within 30 seconds of exiting my vehicle I was politely and enthusiastically greeted by Jacob. He immediately asked me what I was looking for and my knowledge of the car as not to bore me with things I already knew about the Accord. I was test driving within minutes, really getting a good feel for the car once I found one I liked. Jacob listened to exactly what I wanted and didn't waste my time with cars I wasn't interested in or couldn't afford. I found what I wanted and he and the rest of the finance staff really worked with me to get me to where I needed to be. I walked in and was driving out in my new car about an hour later. This was truly a pleasant experience. More
I went in fully-prepared with eyes wide open and paying careful attention. Good thing too because there was a "mistake" or a "misunderstanding" in every single aspect of the transaction. Some of their "m careful attention. Good thing too because there was a "mistake" or a "misunderstanding" in every single aspect of the transaction. Some of their "mistakes" (always in ther favor) had to be corrected more than once. One I have never seen before - right at the very end the finance guy tried to slip past a 4.9% APR financing rate when we had stellar credit and had only ever talked about Honda's 0.9% APR. Confronted, he feigned surprise; "Really? Who told you that? I just assumed...nobody told me." Give me a break! These guys are JUST this side of criminal. Watch closely and verify every number or you WILL get cheated by these guys. More
a new odesssey was shutting down while driving, creating a dangerous situation as it nearly caused an accident. the service dept was very reluctant to accept the fact the car did this on a random basis, a a dangerous situation as it nearly caused an accident. the service dept was very reluctant to accept the fact the car did this on a random basis, and said things like "maybe your big key chain did it" and other idiotic and insulting comments. I serious doubt they put any effort into it and returned the new 2012 van to me saying "well we cant find it so here you go". The van was unsafe and they forced me into selling it (for a haircut) back to the dealer and getting new van. This is one of many hondas but this will be my last. More

Classic bait and switch scam. Found a specific Honda Civic on their website and inquired about it. Was send back a quote - "the Honda Civic you inquired about is available and ready for you to take delivery". Was looking for a manual transmission Civic in particular. Emailed the salesman - Craig Harris - and told him we would drive down to the dealership the next day to look at the car and possibly buy it. Asked specifically to let us know if the car would not be available or sold before we come. We live in Chattanooga and it's approximately 100 miles to the dealer. Called Craig on our way out of town to let him know we were still coming. Upon arrival - Craig was busy and we were shuffled between a couple of people until he got freed up. All the while - everybody was looking on the computer for the car we had come to see. Once Craig became available - 20 minutes later - it was obvious he was scrambling to find the car - or any car - that we would want to look at. It is our belief that this car was not in their inventory when quoted and we were "baited" to drive over 200 miles round trip for nothing. This was to be my daughter's first car purchase - she was devastated. DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP! More

He listened to what we said and he answered questions about our new Odyssey without trying to stick to a script like so many car sales people try to do. When I have emailed him, I have gotten a response in a very timely manner. On our first long trip the van was consistently pulling to the left. Once we were back home, I called Clarence. He introduced me to Don R. in Service and the issue was remedied quickly. Don took the time to explain the tire issue and what was being done to remedy it. Clarence followed up with me a day later confirming things had been taken care of to my satisfaction. We have been on several road trips since and have not had any problems. Everyone I have dealt with has been polite and professional. Nester in finance was a pleasure to deal with as well. We had thoroughly researched pricing on the Odyssey and knew what we were willing to pay. The price we had in mind when we went in turned out to be higher than what we actually paid. When the need arises for us to buy another car, I know the first place we will go...Honda Carland. More
