One of the worst experience. We bought a Honda Odyssey on 12/31/2014. We bought a Floor Model that was on Display. The sticker price was included with specific upgrades like (All Season Floor Mats, Roof Bars 12/31/2014. We bought a Floor Model that was on Display. The sticker price was included with specific upgrades like (All Season Floor Mats, Roof Bars, Lo Jack, Wheel Locks etc) for a price of 45.5K. We negotiated with the Sales Person (Mr.Todd Hansen) that we would like to buy the display model as is.. whatever pkg you have. We traded our 2012 Honda Odyssey and Negotiated Price, We agreed on a Price. We asked for a Bug Shield that goes on the front of the car, which he said is not part of the pkg, we need to buy it. We agreed for it. When all is set and done, we have been asked to come into the finance department for signing paper work, we have been told that Lo Jack is not included as part of the pkg. This is after 4 hours of waiting. When we asked, we negotiated the car that's on display with whatever pkg that's on the car. Mr. Calvin walks in and says that all his cars of Lo Jack and its going to cost $695 to activate it, even though the its mentioned on the sticker (pkg details). He started saying do you want to buy or not. That's of he started the conversation. We said, when we discussed with Todd, we said whatever Pkg that's on the car and price listed, that's what we negotiated. We agreed to pay for the Bug Sheild as it's not included. Not for the Lo Jack. After 30 mts of back and forth conversation, Mr. Calvin said his cost for Lo Jack is $495, we need to pay if we need to close the deal. What a mess, we were very frustrated. When we buy a car for $40K, $695 in addition is not a big deal. As a principle when we negotiated a price for a Pkg on the car. No one mentioned Lo Jack is not included in the pkg or it's an addition. Even though it's listed on the sticker and on the car. We came to the show room at 2:00pm. On 12/31/2013. Prior to that I was at your show room on 12/28/2013 discussed my 2012 van trade in value and exchanged emails with Todd on this floor display model. They did include the bug shield ($270 with taxes) as part of the deal. My point was Lo Jack was included as part of the pkg, but we ended up paying for it. It was our worst experience in a dealership. We bought our last couple of Vans at Gwinett Place Honda, very pleasant experience. Want to make sure I bring this to your attention and hopping that you do something about this and inform the customer properly and treat the customers with respect. Not when we sign the paper work to throw curve xxxxx and ask the customer if they want to buy or not. That's not right. Please feel free to contact us for more information. I sent my brother to do the basic oil change today. He told the service person he just needs an oil change and asked if they can tell him any other problems on the car. This supposed to be the normal proc told the service person he just needs an oil change and asked if they can tell him any other problems on the car. This supposed to be the normal process, where you get your oil changed and they tell you what else you might need. They charged him $60 extra for just telling him the brake pads are bad. He asked the guy before if there is any additional charge to check the car and the guy said it is free. If you are not so rich take your car to an honest dealer not this (Honda Carland) place. I will never go to this place anymore and i will tell it to all of my coworkers so they will not take their cars as well. More
