Obscene overcharging I took my 2006 Odyssey in to get the front fans fixed. They told me that a part needed replacing, and that that part cost $414 (note that that is JUST I took my 2006 Odyssey in to get the front fans fixed. They told me that a part needed replacing, and that that part cost $414 (note that that is JUST the part, not the labor). I got on the google, and discovered that everywhere else in the universe, that part cost $30-50. I confronted the service rep on this, and he told me I MUST be wrong, there was no way it was that cheap, and that he had double checked the price with the mechanic. So, I told them to forget it. Bought the part for $40, found a YouTube video on how to replace it and installed the new part in 10 minutes. My front fans and A/C are now working fine. Take your business elsewhere. More

Honda Carland also offers a longer warranty than any other dealer. From start to finish, there were no surprises, no hidden charges, or price padding with unnecessary add-ons, such as pin stripes. Granted, contemporary cars may be more complex than in the last century, but Craig spent time to make sure that my wife and I understood all the controls, including pairing her phone with the car's Bluetooth system before we left the lot. Highly recommended. More

Emergency vacation trip repair We were traveling on vacation when we encountered a problem with our 2006 Honda Odyssey. We contact Honda Carland and spoke to the service department We were traveling on vacation when we encountered a problem with our 2006 Honda Odyssey. We contact Honda Carland and spoke to the service department and John Peterson and explained the problem and that we were traveling through Georgia and staying at a hotel in Alpharetta. John gave us directions to the location, our van was evaluated in approximately 1 hour as promised, the problem was diagnosed and the repair process explained including the cost, we told the dealer to complete the repair which was estimated to take 2 hours, and our van was back up and running normally after approximately 3.5 hours at the Honda Carland service department. John Peterson and the entire service department including the valet drivers did an awesome job to get us back on the road for our summer vacation. Thanks to everyone at Honda Carland for an awesome experience. More

Lost this customer of 13 years We have purchased 4 Hondas over the past 13 years from Honda Carland. (Charlie Soto has sold 3 of them to us and he is AWESOME!!) However, when we went into Honda Carland last week we had a different experience. We were shopping for a new minivan. Al Smith (also a fantastic guy/ salesperson - would work with Al again just not Honda Carland). Al was great and the time came for him to talk to the sales manager. The sales manager came over with an pompous attitude. He quickly informed that there was no record of our purchase/service history. After 4 purchases and 13 years of service, this really hurt. We didn't come to an agreement at that time - not because he didn't offer us a good price, but we didn't want to do business with him. He had completely taken over the relationship that Al had formed with us and then treated us like he was better than us. Clearly, this sales manager never learned about customer service. We really liked Al Smith so we contacted him the next day to inquire about a different model. Unfortunately he had to speak with the same sales manager. The sales manager called me back and left a voice mail to call him. His words were fine, but his tone told me in no uncertain terms that he felt I was a waste of time..... Once I heard his voice I decide to go to Hennessy Honda in Woodstock. I guess I should thank the service manager - I ended buying a beautiful car and had a wonderful experience doing it. More
