From the beginning of my purchasing process with the internet sales department, Lacey Gray made me feel comfortable and interested in making an appoin From the beginning of my purchasing process with the internet sales department, Lacey Gray made me feel comfortable and interested in making an appointment to come down and take a look at several vehicles that i was interested in. we made a rather long list and then i made the trip over to see Rick Putman. From there, the guy took every bit of time necessary to narrow down my search and drove me all over to help cross the vehicles that weren't in my budget or not what i needed off of my list. i ended up having to leave and come back the next morning but he was willing to stay as late as necessary to help me. Upon return the next morning we had narrowed my search down to a couple of vehicles. THEN, he put his "2 cents" in about everything he had heard me say over my 2 visits. Most sales people listen but never actually "hear" what you are saying. He repeated back to me the things i had stated like, i have 5 kids that i haul around plus ball equipment AND we travel ALOT. I had chosen a Vera Cruz and a Santa Fe and was really leaning towards a Vera Cruz. He then said based on what i had told him he felt like i needed more room and asked me if i would be interested in a mini van. Of course, I said I would NEVER drive a mini van again and was not interested. He was a persistant thing. He pointed all all of the reasons why the car i was looking at may be too small. He pointed out the gas mileage and all of the room that the van would have. He went and got the key. He drove me around and then I drove. All i had to do was drive and look back to the back of the van at all of the room my growing boys would have. That is all it took. This was the vehicle for me. Even though i said i would never drive a mini van again, it was about what was practical for me ..not what i really wanted. I appreciate Rick going the extra mile with me and taking the time to hear me..every single little detail. It really means alot. I had a very pleasant experience with your whole team and I will definitely come back again for my next vehicle purchase. Below is the email that i sent to Rick after my purchase. I would like to thank everyone from internet sales down to finance for making this a pleasant car buying experience. Thank you for all of your help with the purchase of the MINI VAN that I said I would NEVER drive again! I am so happy with it and the room that we have! You listened and actually "heard" everything I said about my life and the way we would be in and out of a car, the miles I drive per year and everything I haul around BESIDES my kids. Your input and pointing out the pros and cons of everything I looked at was so helpful to my decision. What I "wanted" was just not practical. Thank you for helping me put that into perspective! I know that I didn’t have a lot of money to spend and wasn't a 50k car buyer but you treated me like I was and spent all of the time necessary and I appreciate that. For that, I will come back again! I went to Homer Skelton because I had bought a new car from them exactly one year prior. My previous salesman was no longer there so my new salesman was Finus Parkerson who was introduced to me by the In from them exactly one year prior. My previous salesman was no longer there so my new salesman was Finus Parkerson who was introduced to me by the Internet Manager Kamillia Sargent. Ms. Sargent followed my dealings to make sure I was having no issues and Mr. Parkerson took care of everything in a timely manner. I was able to work an exceptionally good deal on my new 2013 car (obviously I would think it was a good deal or I wouldn't have agreed to it). Being a typical female, I probably was not an "easy" customer because I want to drive everything - and I always have a hard time making decisions. But Mr. Parkerson was very helpful and eager to make a deal work for me. He even put my new tag on my car after I had bought the tag 4 or 5 days later (that is going above and beyond). I am overall very pleased with my experience. I communicated with Yolanda via email and she was responsive to my questions and was able to help me find what I wanted before I even went to the deale communicated with Yolanda via email and she was responsive to my questions and was able to help me find what I wanted before I even went to the dealership. However, after arriving to the dealership to finalize my purchase, I found out that Yolanda had not informed me of a couple of very important pieces of information that I was supposed to bring with me. As I had driven over 2 hours to make the purchase, I could not go back home to get what I needed, and I wish I would have been informed about this beforehand as it complicated the purchase significantly. Despite this, however, the other members of the team I worked with were very helpful and willing to work with me. Brandon in particular was of great assistance, and I was impressed with the whole team's professionalism and friendliness. Even after the purchase was over, I received follow up contact to see how things were going, and they addressed my questions and concerns so quickly that I was genuinely surprised. I would definitely recommend them to someone else looking to purchase a car. More

Yolanda called set up an appointment for me to come and test drive the Elantra I was interested in possibly purchasing. I was greeted by Truitt Allen who quickly showed me the Elantra and explained all the features and allowed me to test drive the vehicle. Once I decided I wanted the Elantra, I was surprised how quickly the proposal was presented and how affordable the car is and the payments fit into my budget. I was impressed how quickly the paperwork for the deal was processed by Alan Lipsey. This is the 11th vehicle I have purchased and I have never been able to get in and out of the dealership in approximately an hour. The staff was friendly and courteous and I would recommend Homer Skelton Hyundai to anyone. More

However, this was in no way the fault of the dealership. Because of past credit issues which have been resolved, David would not settle with just any offer - he got me the best he could! We recently bought a Hyundai Tuscon which I absolutely LOVE! We bought our car from Rick Putman who was very friendly and not pushy at all. Everyone one we encountered was very nice and professional.
