I brought my car in for an oil change and when I left I noticed that a light was on in my car, of course it was just after closing time so I didn’t think anyone would be able to see me. When I returned a super nice salesman who also worked in service spent about 30 minutes going over everything in my car and gave me a lot of reassurance that everything was okay!! We’ve been customers of Holmgren Subaru for years. Very responsive and friendly to work with; unusual to have any waiting time at all. Was there yesterday for service, had an emergency with my dog. Very responsive and friendly to work with; unusual to have any waiting time at all. Was there yesterday for service, had an emergency with my dog. The Service Dept immediately volunteered to shuttle us to the vet and picked us up when we were done. Can’t say enough about them. More

Despite specifically picking this dealership based on these admirable reviews, my experience with Holmgren Subaru has been genuinely disheartening. In fact, I would not recommend to anyone who resides ou these admirable reviews, my experience with Holmgren Subaru has been genuinely disheartening. In fact, I would not recommend to anyone who resides out of state to purchase a car from this dealership. I purchased a 2024 Subaru Forester on December 7th and although I was given a 30-day temporary tag and registration, my car is still not legally registered with my home state. And despite all exhausted efforts, my DL is now on its ‘final order’ of being suspended. I cannot express how difficult and frustrating this process has been, especially because I use my vehicle for my professional career. Currently, I am unable to drive to work or use the vehicle for personal use as I would be at further risk of incarceration in the event that my license is suspended. And although I reached out to the Holmgren Subaru days before my temporary tag and registration were set to expire, it has been an incredible challenge to correct this and beyond exhausting—and I am still in the same position I was in...an unregistered car, unable to work or provide for my family…and close to an expired DL. To say that I am angry (and sadden) by this experience is an understatement. I have never encountered this with a Subaru dealership before and I have been in the Subaru family going on almost a decade. For those of you reading this, please do not go here. I do not recommend them and I genuinely hope this helps prevent any hardship for those who do not reside in CT. More
After a bit of back and forth on the phone for an issue with my 2024 Crosstrek with a check engine light on the day before New years eve I was able to drop it off and get a loaner. Michael had the diagnost with my 2024 Crosstrek with a check engine light on the day before New years eve I was able to drop it off and get a loaner. Michael had the diagnostic done quickly found the problem and was actually able to get my vehicle fixed on New years Eve ( the next day) before they left for the holiday,this fix was 2 days sooner than expected. Kudos to Holmgren for getting the problem taken care of super fast and giving me the option of picking it up even though I could not get their till after closing. Great customer service and turn around time! More
