I recently visited Honda for a repair on a part when I was told the $290 piece breaks on a regular basis. This particular customer service representative gave me incorrect information regarding the alleged recent expiration of my warranty, told me he would request that a good will exception be made and would call me ASAP. I never heard from him. Upon my next routine visit shortly thereafter, I double checked the details of my warranty with newly employed Stacy and was told that while I was not currently covered under warranty, I HAD been under warranty during my previous visit! The previous employee had made a mistake. I was very upset but hoped Kuni Honda would make it right. Public Relations Manager Rena Marson sat down with me, took in all the details, and had me at ease immediately. She was sincerely upset that I had not heard back after my initial inquiry. She discussed the situation with Alfred (?) the service manager and together they saved the day! They ordered the part and planned on fixing it for free. While the oil change and warranty approval took a painstakingly long 3 hours, in the end it was worth it. Both managers and Stacy were incredibly friendly and helpful. Finally, when I visited yesterday to get this part replaced, the mechanics broke it in the exact same manner I did originally. I was told it occured because of its poor construction. Unfortunately, this occured nearly 2 hours after my appointment which was estimated to take, worst case scenario, an hour. Therefore, I am heading back next week for another go at this finnicky part. However, I plan on taking advantage of their drop off/pick up service. Overall, I take away a positive experience because of the wonderful personal interaction with the 2 managers and 1 customer service representative. They more than made up for my disappointing experience with the first gentleman. And I admit that the lengthy amount of time I have had to spend at Kuni Honda has been inconvenient, but I believe they are doing the best they can, and am always pleased with the snacks and activities for my child in the waiting area. I receive plenty of coupons in the mail which save me money, and believe me I need all the help I can get! At this point, I believe this part WILL break again, and it should continued to be replaced at no cost. I have had two employees tell me face to face about its low quality, and a mechanic who demonstrated that fact. When I go back next week for the replacement, I will discuss this with a manager. I love you Kuni Honda!! More
Recently had a bad service experience here where i felt lied to. there used to be a follow up system that called customer and you could report your bad service to them. All staff are very helpful dealing with issues and getting back on the road quickly. I highly recommend Burt Kuni Honda over any other Honda dealer, or dealership, period. I have never experienced such a friendly car sales and service environment that is truly authentic and not "salesy," dealer, or dealership, period. My questions are always answered honestly and with my best interest in mind, rather than the bottom line for the company. The service is quick and professional, reasonably priced and straightforward. Plus, the waiting room provides entertainment for my children (The Balloon Lady on Friday mornings rocks!!), free snacks, water and coffee beverages. You will be cheerfully greeted by all employees and receive customer care on par with the infamous customer service of Nordstrom. Do not take chances by going to another dealer! More
