DO NOT USE KUNI HONDA!! They will try to upsell you on everything.....Need an oil change...they'll come back and always say you need a new air filter and new wiper blades even if you yourself or them just everything.....Need an oil change...they'll come back and always say you need a new air filter and new wiper blades even if you yourself or them just replaced them!! I was sucker'd in once and never again. You will be constantly haggled for extended warranty until they are blue in the face. I will go out of state rather than give them the business. I went in for a radiator leak....they pressure tested and came back and said not under my extended warranty....$350 for part, $400 for labor. $100+/hr for labor. Also, they drained my coolant, didn't fill it up or wash my truck which they are supposed to do EVERYTIME and left me with an overheating engine on my way home which could have seriously damaged my vehicle. I called and called afterwards and no one ever called me back after I left multiple messages. Service said I would be allright (air pocket in radiator would fix itself) when I left....shish...not even close. Once again, DO NOT USE KUNI HONDA!! More
Mike was extremely helpful and willing to answer all my questions. He explained everything that was being done to my van, and when an issue arose, he took the time to explore all the various options and c questions. He was honest with me on the amount of time that it would take to complete the service, indicating that the maintence minder was a big one. He suggested several places that i could walk to since i was going to be waiting for the service to be completed at the location. He also explained all the amenities available in the waiting area. All of the technicians and service personnel have provided friendly, timely and quality service for over 6 years now. My 2004 Pilot has over 170,000 confident and trouble free miles due to the Honda provided friendly, timely and quality service for over 6 years now. I took my Fit in for regular maintenance. It was due for a couple of filter changes, but the filters were fine, so they didn't change them--and they didn't charge me for unnecessary parts. The Kuni Honda service dept was extremely professional and courteous. My vehicle was fixed very quickly and I was kept informed throughout the whole process. The shuttle driver was just awesome! I was greeted quickly, they took care of everything, they even washed my car. Told me I would be done in 45 minutes - I was out in less then 30. :) The waiting are was clean and I even had a chance to look even washed my car. Everyone was very friendly. Didn't try to sell anything which is good. Just told me what they recommended that needed to be done to my car. The recommended Action Plan is a nice thing to have. The service was great, they got me in on time, explained each service item and price to me. I had a certain time I needed to leave by and they completed the service and payment prior to that time. I recently visited Honda for a repair on a part when I was told the $290 piece breaks on a regular basis. This particular customer service representative gave me incorrect information regarding the allege was told the $290 piece breaks on a regular basis. This particular customer service representative gave me incorrect information regarding the alleged recent expiration of my warranty, told me he would request that a good will exception be made and would call me ASAP. I never heard from him. Upon my next routine visit shortly thereafter, I double checked the details of my warranty with newly employed Stacy and was told that while I was not currently covered under warranty, I HAD been under warranty during my previous visit! The previous employee had made a mistake. I was very upset but hoped Kuni Honda would make it right. Public Relations Manager Rena Marson sat down with me, took in all the details, and had me at ease immediately. She was sincerely upset that I had not heard back after my initial inquiry. She discussed the situation with Alfred (?) the service manager and together they saved the day! They ordered the part and planned on fixing it for free. While the oil change and warranty approval took a painstakingly long 3 hours, in the end it was worth it. Both managers and Stacy were incredibly friendly and helpful. Finally, when I visited yesterday to get this part replaced, the mechanics broke it in the exact same manner I did originally. I was told it occured because of its poor construction. Unfortunately, this occured nearly 2 hours after my appointment which was estimated to take, worst case scenario, an hour. Therefore, I am heading back next week for another go at this finnicky part. However, I plan on taking advantage of their drop off/pick up service. Overall, I take away a positive experience because of the wonderful personal interaction with the 2 managers and 1 customer service representative. They more than made up for my disappointing experience with the first gentleman. And I admit that the lengthy amount of time I have had to spend at Kuni Honda has been inconvenient, but I believe they are doing the best they can, and am always pleased with the snacks and activities for my child in the waiting area. I receive plenty of coupons in the mail which save me money, and believe me I need all the help I can get! At this point, I believe this part WILL break again, and it should continued to be replaced at no cost. I have had two employees tell me face to face about its low quality, and a mechanic who demonstrated that fact. When I go back next week for the replacement, I will discuss this with a manager. I love you Kuni Honda!! More
