I bought a pre-owned car on 7/29/08 this week and worked with Joshua Arteaga, the internet sales specialist at Burt Kuni Honda. He was awesome to work with. My time was so limited and I was very stressed during the whole process----probably not the easiest customer. He made the experience great and I would highly recommend him specifically to work with. He was kind, courteous and understanding. He also did everything he could to help me when I asked for things/ questions, etc... Joshua is a gem in the dealership. When you go to this dealership, ask for him specifically. You will be very pleased. Thank you again Josh. Regarding the dealership: Just one concern during my short time there ---- when I went to pick up the car, I heard a loud bell ring a couple of times and then clapping followed each time. I asked someone what that was all about and they told me that it mean't someone had sold a car. As a customer, I felt uncomfortable and a somewhat offended by this for some reason and I couldn't put my finger on why. As I thought about it, I realized that it was because of the old tales about "sticker parties" at dealerships and how in the old days it was a big win/ party for dealerships when customers paid the over-priced sticker price for a car and did not try to negotiate a price down. I'm not saying that the sales people shouldn't celebrate when they sell, because they absolutely should. Selling is awesome and even better when the customer feels you did a great job, but the bell-ringing and clapping is not the way to celebrate. If it made me uncomfortable, I am certain other customers feel the same way. The other staff I spoke with were also pleasant and it appeared from my observations that it was a good place to work --- happy staff = happy customers. Janine G. More
I visited another dealership 2 miles away from me initially to buy a car. Although the salesperson brought the vehicle to my house, he did not have time for me once I arrived (3 different times) on t initially to buy a car. When I called Burt-Kuni Honda, Tammy Maddy answered the phone in such a friendly voice I just had to speak to her! When I finally got tired of being ignored at another dealership, I arrived at Burt-Kuni, met Tammy, she then introduced me to Bryan Vinager and WOW....I actually HAD FUN buying a car for the first time EVER!! I have never felt as though a dealership actually WANTED MY BUSINESS! I wish I had bought every vehicle I've ever owned from Burt-Kuni. They actually WANT to take care of their customers because they realize they are in business because of us!! THEY GET IT!! I can't believe how wonderful they are to everyone ALL THE TIME EVERY DAY!!!! After the purchase of my vehicle, I discovered two wasps nests!! Wow, I freaked out and was not very nice when I arrived at the Burt-Kuni service department! I really had a bit of a meltdown toward Brian Horan and Jeff Rucker! WOW....THEY STAYED SO NICE TO ME! And, have continued to be nice to me!! They took care of the wasps since I was going out of town for a week in my car. I really never realized how badly I had been treated from every other dealership in town. BURT-KUNI HONDA is amazing at customer service!!!! I feel like a rock star for the littlest things I come in for. I feel special and valued by every employee there. Burt-Kuni Honda needs to teach a class in customer service. (and I have been in customer service all my life and am not always the easiest person to deal with) Mindy McCombs and each of the other receptionists has always answered any questions I've had with a smile. What a way to begin your time with Burt-Kuni Honda. Overall, I just have to wonder why the entire planet does not shop at Burt-Kuni Honda. Customer service on a personnal basis is lacking in so many businesses. Burt-Kuni Honda has brought back the old fashioned, take care of the individual customer, shake your hand, look you in the eye type of service that a business had only to rely on in the past. Kudos to everyone there. Chip Gallo should be very proud of his team!! He obviously brings his own integrity and values to his employees. No one is unaffected by his ability to be a leader of a very wonderful group of employees. More
My wife and I were in the market for a mid-sized SUV for business travel. We got to Burt Kuni Honda and were approched by Craig Meadows. I let him know we were intested in a 2007 Pilot. Craig was very attentive to our needs and concerns. He took time to answer our questions and was not pushy at all. We the left and went to check out a another SUV. We got the traditional "car dealer" treatment at the other dealership. I call Craig and made an appoinment to see him the next day. He was once again a true professional. Patient and knowledgeable. The dealership allowed my to take the car for several hours so I was certian this was the car for me. The pricing was great and the offer on my trade in was MORE than fair. The business manager Tony was once again a pleasure. I was so impressed with the entire process I purchase a second car just a few days later with the same wonderful experience. Several of the manager came and introduced themselves to me including the GM Robert Groves. Robert invited me into his office just to chat for a few minutes. I met several employees from service to office and they were all very friendly and helpful. If you are looking to purchase a car and are near this dealership, you owe it to yourself to check them out for yourself. You won't be disappointed. This dealership cares about it's customers and appreciates your business. This is by far the best car shopping experience I have had in my life, better than Mercedes, better than Land Rover!! More

I highly recommend Burt Kuni Honda over any other Honda dealer, or dealership, period. I have never experienced such a friendly car sales and service environment that is truly authentic and not "salesy," dealer, or dealership, period. My questions are always answered honestly and with my best interest in mind, rather than the bottom line for the company. The service is quick and professional, reasonably priced and straightforward. Plus, the waiting room provides entertainment for my children (The Balloon Lady on Friday mornings rocks!!), free snacks, water and coffee beverages. You will be cheerfully greeted by all employees and receive customer care on par with the infamous customer service of Nordstrom. Do not take chances by going to another dealer! More
