I got an appointment to drop it off that night and Hoffman made arrangements for me to have a rental (their dime) that was nice. The next day I got the news that a mouse nest was found in the air filter as well as around a sensor, that was the possible reason for the "code." Ok, I do live in a rural area. I went to the shop at lunch and looked for myself, yup there was a mouse nest and various nuts and mouse leavings. Karen explained that in order to physically look at the sensor for signs of damage or component failure the top of the [engine] needed to come off and there were single use gaskets, O rings and parts that would need to be ordered. The overall job would take a couple of days. So with the pending snow storm they would, clean things out, replace the air filter and clear the codes so that I could take my own car home through the snow storm. I was to return at a later date "when the check engine light came back on." That evening when I picked up my car, which was out in the lot, I popped the hood to have a look, you can imagine my surprise and anger when I saw that the mouse nest was STILL SURROUNDING THE SENSOR!!! I went back inside and told Karen what I had found and she immediately went to bring the car back inside to have it cleaned out. Excuses were made and she came back saying it was too late to do anything they were closing in a few minutes. I had to drive home and vacuum the nest out myself. I am still baffled at what type of a mechanic would put a car back together with a mouse nest intact?! P.S. at least the air filter was cleaned and replaced, small consolation huh? I intentionally did not wish to check the yes/no button for whether I would recommend this service center because unfortunately it is the only service center around but this site would not let me leave it unchecked. More

My headlight had cracked after 11,000 miles and Jason Peltz made sure that this was covered by my warranty and that I wouldn't have to pay a dime... w My headlight had cracked after 11,000 miles and Jason Peltz made sure that this was covered by my warranty and that I wouldn't have to pay a dime... which I didn't! Jay is incredibly knowledgeable and LOVES the ford product, especially mustangs. Because of Jay, I went back to ask for his help and purchased some winter tires for my car. Everything was so easy! Even though he was not there on the day I dropped my car off, he put Karen Spatafora in charge and she was great as well! I will be going here for all car services. More
