I have never had such a good experience buying a car before as I did this past week working with Chas. I usually dread entering dealerships because most salesmen act like vultures and are extremely push before as I did this past week working with Chas. I usually dread entering dealerships because most salesmen act like vultures and are extremely pushy. Chas was by far the best salesman I've had and I appreciate how enjoyable he made this whole experience for me. He was extremely friendly and helpful when I arrived on 7/13/11 to buy my first Audi. I never felt at any point he was trying to take advantage of me or push me into buying all kinds of other things or upgrades. He gave me great advice and is extremely personable. When I returned on 7/16/11 to purchase the car, he took the time to sit down with us and get to know us more, which made me feel we were more than just a sale. He takes pride in what he's selling and it showed when I picked up the car on 7/18/11. It seemed like he spent all day making sure the car was perfect and ready for pick up. He spent an hour with me just going through all the options in the car and how everything works. Chas is a one of a kind dealer and I am grateful I got to work with him. I would highly recommend this dealership to friends and family. More

Last Saturday, I went in to test drive a Certified Pre-Owned 2008 A4 I saw on the internet. Granted, I had pretty much sold myself on the car & really just needed to strike an acceptable deal. I Pre-Owned 2008 A4 I saw on the internet. Granted, I had pretty much sold myself on the car & really just needed to strike an acceptable deal. I really just needed someone competent to complete the sale and transfer of my existing registration to the new car. Three days later, when I agreed to take delivery, I was informed AFTER signing all of the paperwork, that the registration could not be transferred because my "new" car required an emissions test as it was previously registered out of state. I was not in a rush to take delivery & could have easily waited another day or three to pick it up. What concerns me is the lack of attention to detail in the transaction that resulted in this inconvenience. Furthermore, after having to remove my plates from the car, my sales rep neglected to attach the dealer plates to the car (yes, I had to sign a loaner agreement basically agreeing to "borrow" the car that I just agreed to pay $28,000 for), thus allowing me to drive off the lot with no plates. After pulling over to answer Joe's frantic phone calls informing me of his oversight, I had to wait an additional 20 minutes in a commmuter lot for him to arrive and attach the plates. What frustrates me is that the whole emissions test requirement was not disclosed up front and/or addressed before I was to take delivery (after 2 clicks on the internet, I was able to find this guideline/requirement), so the fact that this was overlooked gives me some concern. I had agreed with Joe to bring the car in the next day for the emissions test (which would require additional, UNNECESSARY, time off work). I then received a voicemail from Joe on Wednesday, stating that as a result of the inspection for pre-certification, that the codes in the onboard computer had been reset and that I needed to drive the car 100+ miles before it could be tested accurately. Lastly, when I took delivery of the vehicle, it was missing a driver's floor mat. While it may not seem like a big deal, when reading through Audi's 300-point inspection report, this section (floor mats present and in good working condition) was signed off on. To summarize, I believe I got a fair price on the car and an above-average trade in value, but as soon as I signed the paperwork, the above-mentioned annoyances started to surface, which did put a slight tarnish on an otherwise enjoyable experience. In purchasing my first entry-level luxury sedan, I would expect a little more attention to detail. To their credit, Hoffman did work hard to correct these matters & the general sales manager Tim Michael was very receptive to my concerns. Also, Frank (sales manager), called to notify me after delivery that Audi had dropped their financing rates and that I should come back in to sign an amended agreement. This level of service restored my faith in the dealership & as such I would recommend purchasing a new or used Audi from them. More

Mark took the time to explain everything about the automobile. He took the time to locate the car we were looking for. At the time of delivery he explained all the settings and workings of the car. He even went the extra mile to put a red ribbon on the car as this was a birthday present for m wife. We were totally satisfied. He even followed up with a phone call to see how we were doing. More
