Dante Dodd & Bob John I purchased a 2008 BMW 328i from Hoehn Honda Certified Used Cars and I have NEVER had such an incredible experience in my life. Dante Dodd & Bob Johnson were life changing. My husband and I were not quite sure what to expect since most car dealership interactions are an unpleasant experience. However, I can say with no hesitation our experience with Hoehn Honda Certified Used Cars was so wonderful. The lot had a great selection of cars to pick from and they were attentive to us and our questions without babysitting us or following us around the lot trying to make a sale. They gave us just the right amount of space to look and see what we liked but still gave us the right amount of attention to make us feel important and valued. Buying a car is a stressful experience as it is but Hoehn Honda CUC was amazing, and in our case life changing. We are beyond happy to recommend them to everyone and are especially grateful to have had such nice and helpful people guide us through this process. Thank you to Dante & Bob from the bottom of our hearts. More

This included getting financing, trading in my other vehicle and checking out.Fuel wasn't full in the vehicle so I was promised a fill up and a full detailing if of the vehicle. Craig told me to schedule with the office for a time to come Monday through Thursday. I did this and he tank got filled and cart got detailed inside and out. More

They helped me finance my car which I greatly appreciate since I have lower credit than I'd like, but I only got that deal since my friend was a salesman there. Before I even bought the car there were issues with it like the stereo not working or parts of the plastic falling off, and not to mention they promised me a "full tank of gas" which I did not receive (it was on E but they made me already late for work so I couldn't stay and pitch a fit over it even if I wanted to. Then once I purchase the car and try and bring it in for maintenance to fix it I had to jump through every hoop to get it fixed. The battery died within three weeks of having it. Also I only received one key for the car. I have currently lost that key, completely my fault yes, but I feel any respectable dealership would have given me another set when I purchased the car, or at least that is what else every tow truck company I've had to call to deal with this has said. All in all, as a first time buyer, I'm grateful for them for helping me finance, but that's it. As far as customer service goes, I'll never recommend anyone or buy from them again. More
Very poor customer service We were given a free oil change due to the last visit there due to a bad experience. Last visit, we were making an appt. per a part that was needed. We were told the part was in, confirmed it by phone, then arrived and the service manager said they never had part. We were encouraged to return and given a free oil change for a future visit. We gave them a second chance and came in for a recall inspection with the plan to simultaneously do this free oil change. We confirmed by phone and in person with service manager. They called to say car was done and we could come pick up. When we came, we asked if oil change was done. The service manager said we never told him we wanted one. I could not believe my ears! My son was with me ( he is 22) 'and we both heard him agree that the oil change would be free and done with inspection! He said it would be another 45 minutes. We could wait or come back. He was very insist that we never told him and did not accept any responsibility for making a mistake.. He was rude. We will never return there no matter what free service they offer us. We are done with them! More
Regrets Went to 2 dealerships, Poway (I wish I stayed with them) and Hoehn Carlsbad after calling them about their inventory, I knew exactly what I wanted and Went to 2 dealerships, Poway (I wish I stayed with them) and Hoehn Carlsbad after calling them about their inventory, I knew exactly what I wanted and assured they had many in stock. thinking I should go with one closer to home, that was foolish and mistake #1. I did the paper work (4pm) at 7pm still waiting was told the car I was waiting for just got sold? another was on its way, redo paperwork by 9pm told it was enroute , too tired and anxious to get my new car I waited,mistake #2. Car arrived finally with less than 1/2 tank of gas, their guarantee is full tank so okay I get a voucher to come in and fill up on them. Sales guy and I both tired rushed to get out of there. Next morning I found light damages to the interior and odometer reading 214 miles my paperwork stated 32, I took it back that day and was told I could not return it as it was now considered used, but they threw in a pet cover to to ease my frustration and ignorant as I was I accepted this. Mistake #3. I called to schedule that free fill up, bright car in around 5 and waited again at 6:15 the service mgr came out to tell me that they were unable to fulfill the fill up because the station they take it to closed and to come back. I expressed my dissatisfaction with my experience with Hoehn which he simply replied what do you expect me to do, pay for it out of my pocket. I had to go back for a stuck fuel gauge but have never been back since and have had service needs done elsewhere which happened too often. No, I would say do not consider this Honda dealer go to pacific Honda or Poway Honda even if you live in Carlsbad. More

Al Maxey made my first car buying a experience so easy. I was in and out of the dealer within an hour. Al put me at ease by answering all my questions and making sure that I got the best deal on my new Honda was in and out of the dealer within an hour. Jesse in the Service Department made this the very best dealer service experience I have ever had. This was for a relatvely minor issue, but it was handled quickly and honestly, and I actually felt my business was valued. I had stopped going to dealers because of my negative experience with another Honda dealer in the Kearny Mesa area of San Diego. After working with Jesse at Hoehn Honda I can honestly say I will not hesitate to return for my future service or repair needs, or to recommend this dealer to others. I even asked Jesse to write down his name so I could write this review. Thanks a bunch, Jesse! More
This was the second time that Jesse was my service advisor this year after not having gone to Hoehn for over a year. All the personnel in the service dept. had changed since I last had my CRV there s advisor this year after not having gone to Hoehn for over a year. All the personnel in the service dept. had changed since I last had my CRV there so I was pleasntly surprised how well I hit it off with Jesse last January and I called him directly yesterday to schedule today's work and today everything was done professionally and courteously so I am very pleased with him and Hoehn Honda's maintenence of my vehicle. I will continue to return here for service as long as I own the car and live in the area. That is why I give Jesse a great rating. My wife and I bought our first car from Hoehn around 1988 so we go back almost 25 years with the dealership. More
