Awesome Customer Service I don’t often write reviews …but felt that my recent experience at Hoehn Honda in Carlsbad deserved a shout out. Service Advisor, Jim Malandra, took a I don’t often write reviews …but felt that my recent experience at Hoehn Honda in Carlsbad deserved a shout out. Service Advisor, Jim Malandra, took a frustrating issue with my blue tooth phone connection and went above and beyond researching a solution and orchestrating the fix.  He also followed up several days later to ensure the issue was resolved and I was completely satisfied.  Jim’s attention to detail and amazing follow-up are a rare thing these days.  Honda is very fortunate to have such a professional yet caring and personable employee. More

Service center customer service is AWFUL I’d give 0 stars if I could. My 2013 Honda Pilot is missing 1/8 of its paint. Honda sent me a letter clearly admitting the year and color of my car is I’d give 0 stars if I could. My 2013 Honda Pilot is missing 1/8 of its paint. Honda sent me a letter clearly admitting the year and color of my car is compromised paint and told me to contact my local service center (and I was just there for a airbag recall too. Thanks Honda! 🤦🏻???). 1. Honda is only painting the panels peeling, not painting the entire car. Like the paint on my door is any different then the paint on the roof or hood?. 2. Carlsbad Honda can not do the work, and had referred me to a 3rd party auto body shop for evaluation on why the paint is peeling. Honda Carlsbad has to approve the claim, which they did, as it’s the compromised spots appearing on all the cars, but skip, the service manager is telling me their not liable for supplying me any rental or anything while the shop needs my car 14 days to be painted because they are not servicing it. Sooo...??? He is so not personable and used less then a dozen words to tell me it’s not their problem and goodbye and hung up without any advise on what I could or should do or even An apology that is happening to my $28k car. (Meanwhile I had left him 2 messages over 2 weeks to get to this). Even though my letter clearly has Honda’s admission of guilt on the issue, and they are my local dealer. Like I could take my car to corporate for this. Never again Carlsbad. No one I know either. No one seems to take responsibility or even offer any type of help. Ps skip used to be at jaguar Land Rover, but after pissing off lots of high end car owners, got moved to Honda. We care too. And we deserve just as much. Way to go Hoehn. More

Our sales rep, Mark Klingele made the experience easy and enjoyable- his willingness to go above and beyond without the typical “sales pressure” was appreciated- we had lots of questions and found him to be very knowledgeable about his product- he listened to our concerns, and, by laying out the pros and cons of leasing vs. purchasing, we were able to proceed and make a decision that fit with our wants and needs. Kudos to Honda of Carlsbad and to Mark in particular. More

I told my wife that no matter what we would not buy a car that day (my personal policy). We live in Carlsbad so it made sense for us to check out Hoehn Honda nearby. Soon after we arrived we met Mark Klingele and we took a civic out for a test drive. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable but more importantly, he was and is genuine. My wife and I were prepared to fight it out but found ourselves having a great conversation, learning about the cars. Mark understood what I wanted and did a great job comparing different options that made perfect sense. That is an art. Not too long after that my wife and I conferred and decided to buy a new 2019 Civic Sport. The buying was simple and straight forward. Mark helped me get the car setup to my iphone post detailing. Couldnt be happier with the dealership, the car and working with Mark. I was very astonished and I highly recommend this dealership and Mark Klingele. More
