I had to take my car in for a diagnostic test due to engine light on. I had a difficult time booking an appointment in Orlando so I drove up to Jacksonville for this dealership. I have been blown away by the service and availability and communication. It has been such a relief and no one could come close to their speed and availability. Thank you again to Camile in service. She was so accommodating and fast at communicating with me in text. She welcomed me with a smile with Rodney service manager as I was stepping out of my car too. The prices were awesome on the quote. I really liked the video inspection as well. Overall I feel like a valued customer receiving vip service and treatment. I dropped my car off at my appointment time of 730 am and my car was diagnosed, fixed and washed and ready to pick up my 11am, under 4 hours. Everyone including this dealership as so busy, but they are great with working on time and schedule! It’s worth the 2.5 hour drive! Also in checking out I had great service with Ali and she helped me with information in future services with zero finance options so I can come back to do my breaks. More
Absolutely never again! I'll start by saying that I'm comfortable with the quality of the repairs and the friendliness of the service advisor, but that's where the good news ends. I recently brought my car here for an engine replacement. Once the new engine was in and everything was back together, they said they found a leak from the PTU and wanted me to pay to drop the subframe again even though I had already paid for this once as part of the engine replacement. This is a leak that should have been identified prior to disassembling everything. Also, when I was quoted totals for the repairs, they did not include the tax so that was approximately $450 that was additional and unexpected. They also charge a diagnostic fee in addition to the repair where most shops normally apply that to the cost of the repair if you choose to follow through with them. Even so, I wouldn't have been as upset about the fee if they had actually done a thorough diagnosis. They literally charged $135 to add oil and tell me the noise didn't go away. What an absolute joke. Lastly, while the service advisor was friendly and mostly responsive, he was unable to communicate the issues clearly to me so I had to speak to a tech and the shop foreman to get information about the issues and the repair. I'll never return here and I'll be sure to steer everyone away as well. More

The only thing this service department got right from this whole situation was putting me in a loaner car which I am very grateful for. The major problem I have with this service department was there inability to finish the maintenance on the three different dates they promised me it would be finished. When they ordered the replacement part they told me it would be in that following Tuesday and my car would be finished then. I called them that Tuesday and the Adrianna who I dropped my car off with was not working and no one there knew anything about my vehicle and their attitude seemed like they could care less. Later that day the service manager called and offered an apology because the part they ordered was delayed because they didn't know where the part was coming from which I found baffling seeing as how that should have been something they knew. This delayed my car being delivered on Tuesday as promised and when I asked for a new date he did not know. That Thursday Adrianna (the service rep) texted me to tell me the part was in and when I asked for a completion time she told me the tech has to order even more parts to finish my car and it would be done tomorrow afternoon. This whole ordeal has been frustrating which made all of the little things that happened even more frustrating. Some of those things being the lack of professionalism from the service rep in her communication with me about my vehicle, the lack of complimentary wash which they supposedly provide to every customer, and their apparent unwillingness to make-up for the customer service short falls. I will NEVER do business with this dealership because of it and I would encourage anyone reading this not to do business with them either or at least the service department. More

I have a 2015 Mazda 6 whose wheels were becoming extremely discolored with the chrome coating peeling off. It looked bad. Bryan Hagan took it upon himself to work with Mazda corporation to provide an extended warranttee offer that resulted in Mazda stripping and applying a new powder coating to the wheels. Another Service manager stated (wish I could remember his name) I could change the color from chrome to either gloss black or gray. His suggestion was to go with the gloss black that I went with. Outstanding option and decision. The wheels look great and the car looks even sportier than ever. I was offered a loaner car to boot during the processing. Great service that I really appreciate that in all honesty goes beyond 5 stars. I could not have asked for anything better. More
STAY AWAY!!! Less than 3 months ago, I went to this shop and had a full diagnostic because my car was leaking oil. I was told I needed to replace the oil cooling unit and gasket, $751.70 total. Now, less than 3 months later my car continues to leak oil. I take it back to Hodges Mazda, and now I am being told that I need a complete engine reseal, a complete turbo replacement, power steering pump & line replacement - $5,193 before labor & tax. I was not told any of this 3 months ago when I had a full diagnostic on the car. A 9 year old CX-7 with LESS THAN 100k miles should not need this amount of work! Stay away from this dealer as they will fix parts that do not need fixing and try to rob you blind. More

Always a pleasure dealing with everyone at Mazda at the Avenues, be new cars, or service dept., I've been to many other dealerships in Jax southside, and this one is definitely at the top of the list. This is the second Mazda mid-size SUV I've purchased from them and in future, won't buy from anyone else. Highly recommend them to any and all!!! More
