Worst dealership experience I've ever had. The salesman we worked with knew very little about any question we asked. I, as a female and in an office position, knew more about the particular vehicle than the young man. His response was simply "I'm not sure" and never asked other individuals to provide us with a true answer. I specifically asked if the vehicle had two keys (it was used) before we even got in for a test drive. After looking at the tag on the key, he said he'd find out. When we returned from the drive and were back in his cubicle, I followed up and surprise surprise he hadn't found out. While agreeing to a price I asked for the 3rd time about the key and he stated he would see as he handed us off to the finance guy. While dealing with finance, our salesman NEVER returned with the key info and unfortunately while dealing with the numbers and signatures I failed to ask the 4th time. Needless to say, I end up with a vehicle that only had one key and they offered NO assistance in getting one. Simply told I would need to talk to the parts department and it would be another $400-$500 I would need to spend. This particular vehicle was purchased brand new from Hobson, that owner had it serviced and Hobson and they was traded-in at Hobson. There is no reason a 2nd key, which is standard, counldn't be provided. Or at least offered something off the price of a new one. Instead I was basically shrugged off and given a vehicle that wasn't detailed when I drove off the lot. They swore up and down that it was, but my 7yr old nephew would have done a better job wiping down the interior. The same salesman that was useless for lack of better wording, also shook our hands and said he couldn't offer all weather floor mats, but would be sure we had a full tank of gas. Surprise again....we received a half tank. When we questioned this, we were told that policy is that used vehicles only get a half tank. That's fine, but your salesman said a full tank. You should honor what you say. Also, this salesman never so much as touched the door handle of the vehicle to show me anything in or on the car. Never explained features or components. None the less, I will NEVER return to Hobson and tell everyone looking to stay clear as well. My family purchased a similar vehicle just 2 weeks prior from another dealership and the treatment couldn't have been more polar opposite. Terrible knowledge. Terrible salesman. Terrible customer service. STAY AWAY! More

We have shopped at numerous dealers around our area, but this is the first time (and last) we visited Hobson Ford. We were hesitant to drive the hour and a half from our home, but had found a vehicle we wanted to check out. We were greeted by a young man who had very little knowledge about vehicles. Upon agreeing to purchase, he promised to order an owners manual that was missing, a full vehicle detail, help with programming lock features, a full tank of gas, among other things. We ended up with several pages of information off a printer, worst detailing job ever (photos included) and barely a half tank of gas! If we wanted help with the other things, we would have to go talk to the service dept. With our frustration mounting we talked to the "General Sales Manager" who offered no help at all. He basically said that's the way they do things. Well, I can promise you that's NOT the way other dealers conduct business. So sad. I purchased a similar vehicle just a week before and received everything your place said couldn't be done. Again, we will never go back, nor will I ever recommend them to anyone else. There are many other dealerships around that care about their customers. More
