I was very pleased with the service I received on my Jeep at Hill-Kelly. It has been awhile sense I have gone back to Hilly-Kelly for service because of the bad service I have received in the past. I thought I would give them another chance and that is when I met John Chambers. He has been the most friendliest Serviceperson I have met there. He stood by his word on what they where doing with my Jeep "NO LIES" He made sure my Jeep was finished at the time he told me and IT WAS!!!. I was very pleased with the service and I will look forward to having Hill-Kelly continue to service my Jeep. I want to thank John and the team for changing the way I feel about service and I would at this point recommend those that own a Jeep to have their Jeep serviced at Hilly-Kelly. We were on our way home (Pensacola) coming back from Birmingham in our 2006 Sprinter. We were about 30 miles from home and all the instrument lights came on. We pulled over and stopped. Next day we had it toured to Hill Kelly Dodge. We were told they could not look at the vehicle right away that it would take a couple of days because the bay that they needed for our vehicle was in use. They told us that as soon as it came open it would be next. When the vehicle went into the bay it was looked at right away. Bill McGinnis told us he had a new engine order and it would take a couple of days to get us back on the road. He told us to go over to Enterprise across the street and we would have a rental car waiting for us to use while our vehicle was being worked on.…A couple of days later we were told our vehicle was ready. We found out everything was covered under warranty. Plus, no cost for the rental. The management, staff, and technicians (esp. Lee the Sprinter technician) could not have been nicer. They even had our vehicle cleaned and waiting for us. We were very please with Bill McGinnis and the Hill Kelly Dodge staff. More
Outstanding service. Brought my 2011 Jeep Wrangler to have my navigation system replaced and have Sirius travel link software downloaded onto the nav system. Took less than 30 minutes! We had a bad accident with our Jeep Liberty 2010 and Hill Kelly did not even do a great job in reparing that car they also struggled with insurance companies and we had nothing to do with any issues of cost Kelly did not even do a great job in reparing that car they also struggled with insurance companies and we had nothing to do with any issues of cost estimations or declining services by insurance. Back in May 2010 I woke up to a dead 2009 T&C. I called Hill Kelly and spoke with John Chambers. He instructed me how to get a wrecker to get it to the dealership and within an hour my mini-van was called Hill Kelly and spoke with John Chambers. He instructed me how to get a wrecker to get it to the dealership and within an hour my mini-van was on it's way to be repaired. Turned out to be a defective battery which they replaced. The van is our only transportation so John sent someone to pick me up. I was pleased to find out there were no hidden charges as I've not always found dealerships to be up-front with me... I mention this May event because I submitted it to Dealer Rater then and when I saw John again I asked if management had said anything to him and they had not so I submitted it again last night but never got a confirmation, so I hope John will finally get the credit he deserves. I have had several return trips for oil changes and recalls etc. and each time I was pleased with the service. I did not always deal with John because when I called the first time after May 2010 I understood the operator to say he was not there any more but he has been there all the time giving good service to his other customers. Yesterday I called and was re-acquainted with John. Due to a death in the family we have to go out of town for a funeral and I needed to have the oil changed so I called and told John what I needed and he asked how soon I could get there. I'm reasonably close to the Hill-Kelly so I was there in 15 min. and John had me out of there in less than 2 hours and they even did a minor recall fix while there. It's great customer care like what John gives that gives one a good feeling about dealership service. I was a customer service rep for large company for 30 yrs. so I know good service when I see it. Within the last year or so I have dealt with John Chambers. Everything is done in a timely matter and John makes sure that I'm completely satisfied before I leave. The few times I've taken my truck to have small things fixed, he has called within a few days to make sure things were working correctly. More
