On April 25, on a Saturday morning, I called Hill-Kelly Service and asked if they could work me in that day because the throttle linkage on my ‘96 Dodge Ram diesel had worn to the point where it wouldn’t s Service and asked if they could work me in that day because the throttle linkage on my ‘96 Dodge Ram diesel had worn to the point where it wouldn’t stay on the ball joint that held the linkage together. I needed the truck immediately because I was in the middle of a move to Jacksonville. The scheduler told me, understandably, that they might not even have the part, and the odds of fixing it weren’t good, but I needed the truck that day, so I called Robert at the Parts Dept. and He told me they had it! He said that they try to keep at least one in stock because they’re wearing out on the old Rams. So I idled the truck all the way from home to Hill-Kelly to see what they could do. When I got there, I bought the part and carried it over to Service to ask them if they could work me in, knowing that the part was on-hand. Drew Serrano went the extra mile and although the usual diesel tech was tied-up, he got another tech, Ron, to do the job, as it wasn’t really a diesel-specific repair. Within an hour or so, the truck was fixed, I was on the road, and the throttle worked perfectly throughout the move and beyond, to this day. In all, along with Robert, Drew, and Ron, your cashier Trina and porter, Chris, also chipped-in to make the whole experience one that greatly exceeded my expectations! Lied to by 2 Service Representatives I stopped to find out the service intervals on my Grand Cherokee to determine if I wanted to have the service done or just get an oil change. Both representatives assured me there were no factory schedules anymore and gave me a pamphlet outlining the dealership service schedule. One of then told me it depended on the vehicle. She said maybe the vehicle had sat on the lot for a while prior to purchase and and other variables could affect it. I said "ok this vehicle right here". The other one actually told me this "ain 't the 1970's anymore". I went home pulled up my pdf manual and looked up the schedule. More

I would not recommend anyone purchase a vehicle from Hill Kelly. In the past I have purchased used vehicles and dealt with Bob Tyler Toyota and Pete Moore Chevrolet and both treated me exceptionally better t Kelly. In the past I have purchased used vehicles and dealt with Bob Tyler Toyota and Pete Moore Chevrolet and both treated me exceptionally better than Hill Kelly, which I purchased a brand new vehicle from. After owning my RAM for just at a year the battery went bad. After having to jump the truck off multiple times I took it to the service department and they gave me a price and said they could put it in. After I asked if it were under warranty they then decided to get my information and inform me that I would need to come back because they would need to do a 3 hour diagnostics in the truck. I explained to the service advisor that I would drive the truck home and they would pay to get it towed back, she quickly responded with "we don't pay for that, Chrysler does." She minds well have said she didn't care. After speaking with the service manager she was kind enough to put me in a loaner. I got a text today saying the battery was covered but they had to wait on it to get there, but they had one last night when they assumed I was going to pay for it. This wasn't necessarily a big deal. Moving forward While they had the truck I explained that I have been having issues with my cargo light. I get a message from the advisor today saying hat there was a short in the BCM it would not be covered under warranty due to changing the bulbs in the cargo light. Then asked if I would approve a $119.95 diagnostic charge. So here I am wondering how they know it's a BCM but haven't ran a diagnostic? Basically they seen an aftermarket bulb and was hoping I would be dumb enough to replace a BCM at my expense. When I went to pick the truck up the service manager had no care in the world about anything that happened and just said "I'm sorry to here that, they're pulling your truck up." This is not the type of customer service you expect to have when buying a vehicle. More
