When we first found out that I had to give up my truck for an automatic we researched cars and drove a number of them from a number of dealers. We decided on a PT Cruiser and found Hill-Kelly Dodge. Upon entering the building we were greeted by many smiling faces. We were introduced to a young man, Garland, and he proceeded to show us what we wanted to test drive. By the time we left we were not driving a used or pre-owned vehicle but a brand new Deep Water Blue PT Cruiser. We couldn't be happier. They worked with us on financing and then a week after we left they contacted us and had found another discount that lowered our monthly payments. There aren't many people in this day and age, especially with the economy the way it is, that want to help you save money. After having driven 1900 miles we received a letter in the mail that Hill-Kelly Dodge was having a Car Care Clinic for new car owners. We sent in our RSVP and attended the event last night from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. They went over everything to the degree that my wife and I understood what it took to maintain our new car. They were polite, entertaining and very professional in their presentation. We will be going back for the scheduled maintenance and feel comfortable enough to return even if we have a simple question or need a specific service. I would recommend Hill-Kelly Dodge to anyone who wanted a great experience, a great choice of vehicles, and a great group of individuals who go out of their way to please the customer. More
I was a long time customer to another dealership and I have recently had some difficulties there and decieded to give Hill Kelly Dodge a try. Outstanding customer service before, during and after my car was service. Being in the military and transfering every 2-3 years, this is by far the best Chrysler dealership I have visited. My experience with Mr. McArthur far out weighed my experience with the salesman who sold me the car. If I had to rate my experience on the sales side I would have to rate it as "1". This is the 5th a experience with the salesman who sold me the car. If I had to rate my experience on the sales side I would have to rate it as "1". This is the 5th automobile I've purchased and have never felt so "taken" before. The salesman was not honest with me from the beginning, only it was too late before I realized it. He rushed through with explanations and was not truthful about the car's cruise control. He "sold" me the car under the impression it was exactly like the one I test drove, which it was not. Then he proceeded to tell me that none of the cars came with the cruise control already added, that it is added after the car is sold, that the device came with the car and would be added at the dealership once sold. When I questioned him about it, he then said he didn't know why it wasn't already on the car, but they had the part and could add it to my Jeep the next week. I took my car in on Monday to leave it and he acted like we never talked about me bringing the car back on Monday to have the cruise added. He then promised if I left the car the cruise, cargo cover and stain on the roof liner would all be corrected. I left my car and returned on Friday to find out they didn't have the cruise control part, the cargo cover wasn't in and the stain was still there. So why the need to leave my car for 3 days? The best service came from Mr. McArthur who took ownership of the situation. He wasn't worried about who said what and when they said it nor the fact it wasn't his responsibility to see about the cruise control and cargo cover, yet he did. He was professional from beginning to end. That is what customer service is about, not where to point the blame nor how to dodge responsibility. Had my 2008 dodge Charger in shop twice due to 2 different accidents. The 1st accident the car was in the shop for about a month and everything was fixed and to my expectations of when I bought the different accidents. The Service Department(Reese Trantham) always was there to answer my calls and return them as well. Also answered all my questions about the repairs. The 2nd accident took about 2.5 months and again Reese and his team were on top of it,fixing the car again back to factory condition. He and his team went above and beyond a customers satisfaction of repairing a car.. I thank him and Hilly Kelly Dodge for being there in my troubled times of accidents and also ,for being VERY understandable during the times the car was in the shop. I could have taken the car to other Dodge dealerships in the area or another car repair shops,but I felt more confortable with Hill Kelly Dodge and the service department there.I felt they knew me,and I knew them. I felt like I was a customer and I was important as the day I bought the car 2 years ago. More
