Switched to this dealership 2 yrs ago after getting ripped off for a service by a Mazda dealership to the north of Dallas. Then had a very good experience buying a new CX5 in the summer of 2020. But today's experience in the service center was very poor. After pushing their 'video' experience of the car service I clicked on their link for the work estimate and selected the options I wanted and electronically agreed the work for ~ $128. To my surprise on checkout they said the actual total was ~$177 ! When challenged they said it was a clerical error and the total was correct. I refused to pay that amount having followed all their 'prompts etc , being quoted a price and agreeing electronically. The front desk person was very argumentative but eventually lowered the price to ~$140. I left this dealership vowing never to return. Two Mazda dealerships in 2 years overcharging for service is 2 too many. This is a big shame as our family owns multiple Mazda vehicles. Now searching for a trustworthy service department. More
My husband took my car in for it’s first oil change to Hiley Mazda of Hurst Service Department. My husband sat in the waiting room for an hour and 40 minutes. Service was completed in 47 minutes. No one came to the waiting room to notify him that the car was ready, although other customers were notified in person. When he walked to the service area to ask why it was taking so long, he was told that “they just now finished”, which was a lie. After calling the service director, I was told that they do not visit the waiting area due to Covid protocols, even though they visited other customers and no masks were worn. I am shocked at the lack of common courtesy and blatant lying during our first (and last) experience at Hiley Mazda of Hurst Service Department. This is very disappointing as we had a great experience buying the car from Clay. More

Purchased a 2019 CX-9. The initial buying experience with Leo was good. He was friendly, helpful, and understanding of our stress being forced to bring our kids along. The wait for financing was terrible but Leo was good. He was friendly, helpful, and understanding of our stress being forced to bring our kids along. The wait for financing was terrible but not Leo’s fault. However, when all was done, we were handed two key fobs and sent on our way. Now, we should have tested both right there. It had been a very long day and we wanted to get on the road back home. To our dismay, one of the key fobs was not to this vehicle. The key was different and the fob didn’t unlock the doors. Leo initially said he’d try to find a solution and contact me with updates. After over a month, no contact. I called back and spoke to the Internet Manager who offered me nothing but paying out of my own pocket to have it reprogrammed. Quite disappointing that they didn’t check their fobs before selling the vehicle and aren’t willing to help me now. I guess they can fall back on the “as-is” agreement but you never expect to be disappointed like this. More
First, we purchased our Mazda CX9 in December and our sales person was Brennan. He was excellent to work with and went over all aspects of the vehicle. I highly recommend Brennan. Second, I just took our Mazda in to Hiley today to adjust a windshield wiper. The service was excellent and quick and they sent me a video text showing my car and noting that it was ready for pickup. Would recommend them for sales and service. More
This was the best car buying experience that I have ever gone through. The GM Mr. Glover was extremely wonderful. Clayton Barnett is the Best!!! I had bought a used Hyundai from this dealership. Long story short- they sold me a car with a major oil leak. When I brought the vehicle to another mechanic to fix my trunk, which I was locked out of story short- they sold me a car with a major oil leak. When I brought the vehicle to another mechanic to fix my trunk, which I was locked out of (as expected of Hyundai), I also found out from them that there was a "Half-worked-on-oil-leak-issue". Very disappointed in their dishonesty. They were not truthful about their vehicle. Full disclosure: My sales person was a man named Dyrus, not Clayton or Brennan. More
