Went to Hiley Mazda of Hurst with my daughter to look at / test drive a CX-5. Things were going well with salesman Rich Longworth who was very professional and informative. He answered all of our question / test drive a CX-5. Things were going well with salesman Rich Longworth who was very professional and informative. He answered all of our questions without forcing any one trim level on us or pressuring us to buy that day. However, the good experience changed when sales manager Jeremy Williams got involved. I have purchased close to 20 new cars in my lifetime, and I've never come across anyone in dealership management (or sales for that matter) this unprofessional and downright rude! He claimed there was no way we could buy a CX-5 for a very reasonable $1000 off msrp and dared me to try, essentially inferring that I would be crawling back to buy from him. NEVER would that happen! Bottom line is this guy should not be in sales much less a sales manager. On a positive note, my daughter did find her deal at (ironically) another Hiley dealership. Unfortunate that Rich Longworth lost the sale because he was great to work with. Hopefully, Hiley's upper management will take notice of reviews like this. More

JAMES HIGDON (SERVICE DIRECTOR) WAS RESPONSIVE AND PROACTIVE IN HAVING HIS TEAM EVALUAT TOTALED IN THE SEPT. 2022 DALLAS RAIN STORM DUE TO FLOODING. JAMES HIGDON (SERVICE DIRECTOR) WAS RESPONSIVE AND PROACTIVE IN HAVING HIS TEAM EVALUATE THE VEHICLE AND CONNECT WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANY RE: ITS STATUS. HE UNDERSTOOD THE FRUSTRATION ON OUR END AND WAS VERY CONSCIENTIOUS ABOUT KEEPING US UPDATED. RESOLUTION WAS QUITE SATISFACTORY. I usually hate the car buying experience but Clay made it almost enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable about each of the three models and two trims we were exploring. Excessive markup on new vehicles! I just spoke with a sales rep about a new Mazda CX-5. He informed me that they are adding nearly $3k to every vehicle for window tint, wheel locks a I just spoke with a sales rep about a new Mazda CX-5. He informed me that they are adding nearly $3k to every vehicle for window tint, wheel locks and door edge guards. Those three items likely cost the dealer less than $300, but they are screwing their customers for nearly $3k! When I expressed my extreme dislike of Hiley's slimly tactics, his defense was "that's every one was doing it". So if other dealers are screwing their customers, I guess Hiley feels that they should jump on the bandwagon and screw them too! I have found a Mazda dealer in Austin that is selling new cars at MSRP without any unwanted add ons. Guess who is getting my business. When the supply issues are finally resolved, I hope customers remember which dealers treated them fairly, and which ones tried to milk the situation to get every last dime from their customers (i.e. Hiley). Hiley not only lost a customer for this sale, but for life. I will never buy a vehicle from any dealer that uses these greedy and slimly tactics, and I hope other don't as well! More
