Thanks to Mike Reed! We drove to Huntsville from Birmingham for the purpose of looking at a particular color that the Audi dealer in Birmingham did not have on their lot. Looking at Hiley’s inventory on the Audi website, we were able to confirm they had the color we were looking for. The trip was intended to only confirm whether or not we liked the color before ordering our Audi in Birmingham. As we pulled into Hiley’s lot, we were warmly greeted and welcomed by Mike Reed. We were totally up front with Mike as to our reason for coming and that we had picked out a car to order in Birmingham, but just needed to confirm the color. He immediately located the car we had seen on the website and had it brought out front for us to see. After seeing the color, we confirmed we didn’t like it after all, and just started looking at other colors of various cars on the lot to help us decide the color we wanted. Even though Mike knew we weren’t there to buy a car, he allowed us to browse at our leisure, but remained available to answer questions and point out various cars and features on them. As it turned out, we ended up buying an A8 from Hiley’s. Mike’s outstanding customer focus played a major part in our decision.
