I went to this dealership because my sister and brother-in-law had just purchased a NEW vehicle and were happy with their purchase. Apparently if you're not buying a NEW vehicle from them, then th brother-in-law had just purchased a NEW vehicle and were happy with their purchase. Apparently if you're not buying a NEW vehicle from them, then they don't care about your satisfaction. I ended up buying a used minivan (2005) in March. About a month ago I noticed the passenger side sliding door was not unlocking automatically and called to see if the extended warranty would cover having it looked at/fixed. I was told to bring it in. I brought it in and dealt with a very tired, disinterested looking man named Josh. After several times of telling him what I was there for he wrote up the ticket and sat us out in the waiting room for over an hour before finally telling me to bring it back several days later for repair and that it was COVERED by the warranty I had purchased. I came back on the day he scheduled me and he was not there-I had to deal with another again, disinterested young man who also didn't seem to know they should be expecting my car that day. Again, have to tell him what it's being dropped off for. They give me a nice loaner car but then two days later I have a message on home answering machine that door is not covered by warranty. This came on a Friday night. I called back on Saturday to question this and again, don't get the same person to talk to and speak to a Lucas who tells me he will find out what's going on and have the Service Manger call me. No one calls me on Monday so I call the guy who sold me the van (John Augustine) and he is less than helpful since apparently I called him on his day off. Finally, I am called by the Service Manager whose name escapes me at this moment but he was the rudest one of all. He said the van was not covered and he wanted the loaner car back that night. I said I can't bring it back tonight is tomorrow ok and he muttered something about this being find and hung up on me!!! Is this good customer service? I don't think so! I would not recommend this shady outfit to ANYONE!!! I know ALOT of people in my town and will make sure I spread the word. Oh and thanks for returning my vehicle with an empty tank of gas that went in with 3/4 of a tank!!!!!!!!!!!!! More
Visited the dealership a few times before settling on a used Scion. Never have I seen a place so uninterested in selling me a car! I've dealt with several people and the only person I liked was Mike Morale used Scion. Never have I seen a place so uninterested in selling me a car! I've dealt with several people and the only person I liked was Mike Morales. He was laid back, honest and easy to deal with. But, despite liking Mike, every time I try to contact him via email, I get an email back from the internet sales manager, Lonnie Tapscott, who, despite writing back, doesn't really answer my questions. The finance guy was smarmy and tried to see if he could get an "in" while talking to me to bash Al Gore, but I didn't bite. xxx? Asked me how I felt about Al Gore buying some big fancy house. What does that have to do with anything? Said he'd never seen anyone NOT buy the Toyota Extended Care, but I wasn't budging on that either. My buying experience was OK. The only positive thing about it was Mike. I just get the overall feeling that they just don't give a crap about you, even when you DO decide to buy a car. During the several months I was searching, I made numerous inquiries via their (never updated) website and never did anyone call on me or offer to help me find what I was looking for. If I hadn't have been after such a specific car, I would never have bought from them. Would not recommend unless you know exactly what you're after and can deal with Mike only! More
I have never had a good experience with this dealership. I've been there several times, once to buy a 2004 Scion xB in 2007 and today to look at a 2010 Scion xB. If you're under 30 years old, don't even bot I've been there several times, once to buy a 2004 Scion xB in 2007 and today to look at a 2010 Scion xB. If you're under 30 years old, don't even bother. They'll barely talk to you, let alone take you seriously. They once told me they would install an iPod adapter after I was told the model came equipped with one. They never followed through with it even though they gave me a statement in writing, even after several faxes and calls. Worse customer service EVER. More
