I took two of my vehicles in for service on 12/17/24 and 12/19/24. My 2008 suburban needed a check engine light diagnostic and I wanted to program new fobs for my 2023 Traverse. After picking up my traverse and driving home, the next morning my traverse would not start. It appears that the cars anti theft system by gm was activated and an ignition lock was placed so now I have to wait until Monday so Hessert can call GM to lift it. I spoke with the manager Ivon Brown who did accommodate me with a loaner while this issue gets resolved, but I still had to spend unnecessary money on uber to and from work for a total of $90. Today I went in to get the loaner and asked about my other vehicle and if there was a financing program available to get the repairs needed. I needed to get some personal property out of my suburban so I asked a specialist for access. We looked and looked and could not find my suburban. My suburban was no longer at the dealership, which brings me to question now as to where could it be. I was called on Thursday 12/19/24 with regards to the needed services and Saturday morning it’s missing from the dealership. They’re assuming that it was towed and are awaiting confirmation. This is absolutely unacceptable service and irresponsible behaviour. When I leave my vehicle anywhere to be serviced I’m expecting for it to be in the best care. I don’t understand how a dealership displaces a car. And if it was towed as the specialist assumed, why was it towed and why wasn’t I notified. Two cars at this dealership and both are being mishandled at this point. Between the back and forth phone tag and the money spent, I exhausted mentally, financially and physically dealing with them. I’m a UPS driver so I’m not off until that last package is delivered. The last few days I’ve been working without a break, and practically running so I can get off in time to take an uber to the dealership to pick up my car only for it to not be completely functional for me to move forward with my everyday commute. I worked with Ron Santiago I’ve been looking for a brand new car to accommodate my needs, with 4 kids who play sports and love our family road trips I needed something with features. Sales person was pleasant and professional while we were in process of purchasing the car, however he said that he would send copies of documents that I signed and he has not. From the moment we arrived on the lot, we were introduced to Thomas (by his manager) and he was very professional and helpful from the beginning. He answered all of our questions and offered for us to take the Equinox for a drive. He wasted no time talking us through the negotiation and meeting our expectations. On the day of pick up, Thomas made sure the car was spotless and the paperwork was ready to go to ensure everything went quick and smooth. Since leaving the lot with our new Equinox, Thomas has checked in with us to make sure we didn’t have any additional questions and to ensure that we were enjoying our new vehicle. This was the best experience we’ve ever had at a car dealership and we recommend Hessert to anyone looking for a new car! More
My car was there on last Saturday for an oil change and requested a multipoint inspection. They issued a service report to confirm that they performed the multipoint inspection, but they forgot to do that. requested a multipoint inspection.
