After extensive vehicle research and planning we decided to purchase either a Mazda2 or Mazda3. Using the Costso automotive service to find a dealer all that was needed was to test drive each of the cars. W to purchase either a Mazda2 or Mazda3. Using the Costso automotive service to find a dealer all that was needed was to test drive each of the cars. We were hesitant because of past negative experiences with car salesmen. We were pleasantly surprised with what we experienced at Herzog-Meier Mazda. The telephone appointment representatives were polite and helpful, the internet sales representative, Jake Norquist, was knowledgeable, friendly, flexible and not at all what we had been expecting. After testing the 2 cars, we decided on the Mazda3. Jake was straightforward with the Costco price and all negotiations. He walked us through the process from beginning to end making sure that my family was taken care of the entire time. There was a long wait for the finance department, but once in the finance offce the rest went quickly and without pressure. We had a very good experience at Herzog-Meier Mazda, purchased a great car at a great price with no haggling or pressure. More

Richard Kim is a very nice and patient sales person to work with. He gave us lots of freedom to chosse the car we wanted. After starting the day out at CarrSubaru my wife and I were very hesitant about the whole process. I was looking to buy my first new car and had already encountered the dreaded pushy and overbearing sales were very hesitant about the whole process. I was looking to buy my first new car and had already encountered the dreaded pushy and overbearing salesman. RJ and the entire staff at Herzog Meier were fantastic though. We had first stopped off at their Volkswagen dealership and when they didn't have what I was looking for the sales rep(Coco) walked us across the street and left us in the very capable hands of RJ. What a 100% different experience than at Carr. RJ was extremely knowledgeable with all of the Mazda and Mitsubishi line-up. Something I can't say for the previous staff at Carr. Maybe they were but they decided to give me zero information on the cars. I was here to look at the Mazda3 5 door and by the time RJ was done with the test drive I knew everything there was to possibly know about the car. Not once did I feel any pressure to buy the car either. I wanted a manual and they didn't have any on the lot but there was one in Salem at another dealership they could get. We needed to think about it so we said we would be back. Once again, no pressure to buy. We came back the next day and RJ and Patrick took care of us. We didn't have to go sit in some small room so they could trap me in. They gave us all of the information we asked for. They were never hesitant and I never felt like I was being taken advantage of or lied to. It was Sunday so they couldn't get me my car until Monday. That had to be the worst part of the whole experience. Having to wait was killing me but I would gladly do it again for that same experience. I would recommend RJ and the staff at Herzog-Meier to family, friends and strangers on the street. I would have recommended them even if I didn't buy a car from them. Thanks guys More
A very non-confrontational, professional, yet casual environment to conduct the business of buying a used automobile in.
