Possibly the worst Lexus dealership in the country I feel that many of the reviews on this site are innacurate from my own experience (which dates back at least 5 or 6 years) plus negative experiences I feel that many of the reviews on this site are innacurate from my own experience (which dates back at least 5 or 6 years) plus negative experiences from family and friends. Lexus dealerships are supposed to the be the pinnacle of excellent service, however Herrin-Gear isn't even on the level of a Toyota dealership. Customers should rightfully hold you to a higher standard. In the beginning I was getting a Lexus that I bought from another dealership serviced here. I was happy because my service advisor Justin (who no longer works here) was always extremely nice and caring and I was doing routine maintenance. A negative point is an oil change here typically takes forever. Then I had a major issue with my car and the nightmare began. Firstly, the service advisors here are mostly lazy and nonchalant. They never answer the phone or call back in a timely manner. This dealership is not that busy. It is like pulling teeth to get a loaner car (impossible to reserve online even after selecting a service that qualifies for a loaner). This is a basic perk of driving a luxury car nowadays. I had my car towed here and the service department played games saying they needed to put a new battery in it (which others have stated happened to them) to see if it would crank. I had already had my battery tested at AutoZone before having it towed. They insisted. Anyway, after a day of back and forth I told them not to do anything else and I was having it towed to a private facility. They didn't know what they were doing. It was going to be hundreds of dollars before they even diagnosed the issue. Not having learned my lesson, I attempted to purchase a car from them after getting the current Lexus fixed. They played games after pulling me into the office and pretending like they could get me the specific deal I wanted, which was a simple 5k off msrp. It's really nothing, but they talk to you as if it's your first time at the rodeo and you haven't done your homework. I walked away and purchased an Infiniti. I was surprised to experience a higher level of salesmanship and service since owning an Infiniti. I had always dreamed of owning nothing but Lexus cars due to the reliability and "experience." Until there is another Lexus dealer in this state people will continue to deal with New Orleans and Baton Rouge. More

Mr. Al has been assisting me over the years in the service department and I appreciate the fact that he's been a dependable contact for me when my GX has needed maintenance services. He's very personable and professional... He keeps me updated when my vehicle is being serviced and, even better, he has a loaner car for me to use when needed. :) Keep up the good work, Mr. Al! And, Sean, he's high on my list, too! Great folks! More

Good, quick 1st 5000 mile service. I needed to get my new Lexus in for the first 5000 mile service and to not take too long.
