Used Car Purchase My wife and I recently purchased a used 2015 Ford Fusion. After doing alot of research, I felt that I was getting a very good deal. The staff, including the salesman, Rhett, and the Business Mgr. Meryl were friendly, courteous, and professional in all interactions. I saw a good friend, Janet, while there also. I have been looking for a good used car for a little bit of time. In talking with one dealer, they added on a $595 administrative fee and another $500 "conditioning" fee. This dealer was in our state's capital and I would never deal with a company that did business in this manner. Herlong does not charge any administrative fees and offers you a good deal on your transactions. I would recommend them. This vehicle was a 3rd vehicle, but I would consider them for new vehicle purchases also in the future. More

Great Experience! Well Worth Driving Six Hours Roundtrip! I decided I wanted a Ford F150, but with so many trim levels and options, wasn't quite sure which one. I live in the Charleston area, and either I couldn't find what I was looking for, or just did not connect with the people I spoke with. Saw Herlong Ford while browsing AutoTrader. Went directly to their website and was impressed with the selection of F150s and the quality of their website. Great pics of their inventory, and actual stickers for their inventory were VERY helpful. I called to speak with someone about availability of inventory and spoke with a young lady named Amber. Very polite and interested in getting me to the right person. That person was Fred Munns. Truly one of most knowledgeable, down to earth people I have conversed with in quite a while. We just clicked. I am a DETAIL person, so I feel like I could easily have worn Fred out. Completely patient with me. I called back several times with more questions, and when told he was with other customers, each time, I received a callback exactly when I was told he would. We made a deal. At closing, I met Meryl Breazeale, the business manager. Same story....patient, attentive, and no pressure at all. My wife and I do not recall being excited about the car-buying process until now. Geat people, great experience. I dealt with Rhett through text and email since I was 70 miles away. He was very helpful by answering my questions and even texting me pictures.
