Done with them When I first purchased my car and went for regular maintenance it was great but service has totally gone down hill. About 2 months ago my transmission When I first purchased my car and went for regular maintenance it was great but service has totally gone down hill. About 2 months ago my transmission light came on so I called for an appointment. The intake person told me I should not drive the car and gave me one for the next morning which was a Friday. I took my car in & was told it would be ready in a few hours. By late afternoon when my car was not ready I was told they were backed up And wouldn’t even get to my car until At least Monday, possibly Tuesday. I had to rent a car. I later found out the car was drive able after all so I was left without a car for 5 days for nothing. Because of all of this I was offered a full car detailing whenever I had 3-4 hours it would take along with apologies. Fast forward to going in for my 40k mile service and what was suppose to be the full detailing. The person that offered the detailing had left but I was told no problem. Still before leaving I open the trunk only to see it hadn’t even been vacuumed to which Mr Burke the service advisor tried to act shocked and said he would take it back to do but I declined after having waited around for 2 1/2 hours already. I get home and take a good look at the inside of my car finding the seats had not been cleaned nor the side panels and there was even some black greasy residue on the panel that wasn’t there before. How do you claim to have detailed my car when even crumbs in the cup holder had not been cleaned out? All they did was wash and wax the outside and do the floor mats. Since they couldn’t be trusted to have done what they claimed to do with the detailing I can’t trust they are actually doing the work I come in there for like the 40K service or the oil change, fluids flushed, changing filters etc. I will not be going back to the dealership again. I am done with Union City Heritage Volkswagon. More
