The service department was short on mechanics. The time was 3- 4 hours wait. If the Service Manager would have informed customers it would be a long wait. Stay Far Far away. I had a horrible experience With Heritage Volkswagen in Union City Georgia. I had been looking for a Passat TDI for several weeks. I previously stopp I had a horrible experience With Heritage Volkswagen in Union City Georgia. I had been looking for a Passat TDI for several weeks. I previously stopped in a spoke with Dee Holness (note: Dee was great) to see what they had on the lot. Unfortunately, they didn't have what I was looking for. Dee took my name and number and said if anything came in he would let me know. About two weeks later Dee called and I made the trip back up to look at a car. The car had everything I wanted. This is where things started to go south. I went in on a Saturday morning, drove the vehicle looked it over and was ready to purchase the car. Before buying the car I wanted to make sure all the maintenance had been performed for its mileage. I asked for a print out of the inspection report that was performed when Heritage received the vehicle. They would/could not give me that information. Dee tried to get the information but could never get anyone to give him the information. I asked if they were going to fill up the DEF fluid (AdBlue) and was told if the light isn't on that they weren't going too. I was told by one salesman (Not Dee) we do nothing more or less than we have too to the vehicles. I then asked if they planed on filling the tank with diesel. I was told that on used cars they would only fill to 1/4 tank of fuel. No customer service at all. I wanted a few maintenance items done on the car. I said I would pay for these services. Dee said he could get dealer dealer pricing on the service at time of pricing. Dee went off to get the pricing for the items I wanted done. Needless to say it wasn't dealer pricing. One service was a transmission fluid and filter change. Heritage wanted $500 for this service. I called two other dealers one quoted me $299 and the other quoted me $279. $500 is nowhere near dealer pricing. Heritage is a very dishonest, no customer service dealership. After 3 trips to the dealer to try and make a deal, I left the dealership went across the street and bought a 2015 Passat TDI SEL lower miles, better condition, nicer car, with service record print out. Full tank of fuel and DEF fluid for about $1000 dollars more. Great and pleasant experience at Audi South Atlanta. Do not buy at Heritage Volkswagen of Union City!!! More
Dropped off the car at the airport for convenient service while you travel. Each time I do this they fall to ask why I missed the service appt. They had the car for a week, and not only did they neglect you while you travel. Each time I do this they fall to ask why I missed the service appt. They had the car for a week, and not only did they neglect you perform the service, they also did not return my car or a loaner to the airport. I was forced to find another way home. Unfortunately, there is no choice to leave zero star rating. More

I have always received excellent service at Heritage of South Atlanta and choose to come here versus the dealership closer to my home. This experience was a little different. I was greeted by an Advisor wh South Atlanta and choose to come here versus the dealership closer to my home. This experience was a little different. I was greeted by an Advisor who obtained my appointment information and told me that it was time to complete my 20000 mileage service and asked if I wanted to do that versus the oil change that I initially set. He reviewed all items to be completed as well as the price. I agreed to have the work done along with a car wash. I asked the estimated time and I was told 2 hours. So, I gave myself 3 hours since this service was not planned. So, I sat waiting patiently for 3 hours and yet no word. I gave it another hour and still no word. I was finally approached by my Advisor to inform me of a recall that was taken care of as well. He stated that they were finishing up and I would be ready to go in a few minutes. Again, another hour passed. I finally got up to ask about my vehicle. After another 15 minutes, my information was passed to the cashier. There was a short review and the Advisor was off to get another vehicle. After I paid, I walked out and he pointed my car out since it was outside. I got in to find a half detailed car with paperwork for another owner balled up in my front seat. While all that I encountered were very nice and pleasant, the wait was extremely long and with no check in or progress along the way. And, to be there from 11:00 to after 3:00, I would expect to have a spotless vehicle and no concern for have someone else"s name, address, and vehicle information left in my vehicle. I know this is not normal for this dealership, so I will not overlook all the great service they have provided over the years. But, this visit was not one that I would consider to be pleasant. More
