I had an emergency due to a "Urgent Safety Recall" and had my car towed to NTB. I needed to get it to a Dealer to do the work and called RH ---just a little over a mile away from where the car Recall" and had my car towed to NTB. I needed to get it to a Dealer to do the work and called RH ---just a little over a mile away from where the care was towed. They were beyond rude--refused to accept the car without an appointment and said they wouldn't cover the tow to them. When I asked the service rep his name he hung up on me. I called back and reported the experience to the receptionist and plan to call Toyota directly tomorrow because I don't think this Dealership cares. I then called Russell Toyota and was treated like Royalty! They arranged for and covered the tow--they are going to check the car right away and offered me a rental. That's Customer Service and that's where I will buy my cars in the future. More
Worst service. Scion Trunk latch broke. When I called dealership to make appointment, woman that answered informed me that this was the 4th one that week and led me to believe that it would be covered un dealership to make appointment, woman that answered informed me that this was the 4th one that week and led me to believe that it would be covered under warrantly. Since I had the car in for service I asked for some additonal work. I received a call to inform me that the trunk repair was not covered and basically I was out of luck. The cost of the other repairs was too expensive. When I picked up the car the cost of the repairs was more than I was told. The service person got someone, they never introduced themselves. He said this is what Franz quoted you. I said it wasn't but to no avail. R&H may have gotten over me on this repair but they lost a good client. More
Dealership "fixed" my son-in-law's Scion Air Conditioning leak late May, only to have it lose coolant by July. I fixed the car there for him because he is in treatment (then inpatient) at Johns Conditioning leak late May, only to have it lose coolant by July. I fixed the car there for him because he is in treatment (then inpatient) at Johns Hopkins (now daily in patient-out patient routine). He and my daughter can't take the car in and also be at Hopkins daily. I wrote to set up another AC appointment thru the R&H Toyota website since I planned this late August visit. They never responded - so forget the website. Now they can't get me in. Worst, service manager Lance says they won't stand behind the repair anyway! That's when it hit me - Why deal with them?! They won't repair what they never fixed anyhow!!! DO NOT TRUST this group, Lance in particular. He is a weasel. Their drivers were very nice. They just didn't fix my ill son-in-law's car and refused to back their work. I will never forget that at a time of crisis in our family, they didn't do the job right, refused to make it right, dropped the ball completely and tried to make it "not our job." R&H does not deserve anyone's business. More
I have brought both of my vehicles to R&H for service. I think Franz is the best service advisor that I have worked with. He is VERY honest and upfront and DOES NOT try to up sell me on every s service. I think Franz is the best service advisor that I have worked with. He is VERY honest and upfront and DOES NOT try to up sell me on every service they offer. I will even bring my fathers car in for service when he's here from NY. I even went in the dealership thinking I needed brakes and rotors and he advised me that I didn't, the only thing I was in need of was an oil change!!! Thanks Franz for being so great and I will be back for service and refer friends & family. More
I would not recommend R and H Sales or Service Department to anyone. The employees who are working in sales and service departments lack customer service skills, as well as honesty and integrity. When you to anyone. The employees who are working in sales and service departments lack customer service skills, as well as honesty and integrity. When you purchase a vehicle, it is imperative that you read through the contract. There are a number of hidden charges that have been added into two contracts that I read over prior to signing. After requesting several items be repaired to my vehicle prior to the expiration of the warranty, R and H failed do perform the repairs or add the request in their computer. However, once the warranty expired, they advised me of the same issues that were presented to them prior to the expiration of the warranty. However, the vehicle was taken to another Toyota service department and the repairs were done prior to the expiration of the warranty and no longer an issue. Please do not do business with this organization. BUYER BEWARE when purchasing your vehicle or service!!!! More
Service is always slow and overpriced. Today, they decided that our 8-year service plan expired in less than eight years. They have decided that it expires after 120,000 miles even though we have used decided that our 8-year service plan expired in less than eight years. They have decided that it expires after 120,000 miles even though we have used it since it passed 120,000 miles. We won't be returning to this dealership for service or sales. More
I brought my wife's Toyota Corolla for a routine service at R&H Toyota for the first time on 12/09/2011. I found that the service agent was rude and didn't return phone calls in a timely manner. The technic at R&H Toyota for the first time on 12/09/2011. I found that the service agent was rude and didn't return phone calls in a timely manner. The technician did sloppy work including spilling transmission fluid and coolant because he was too lazy to use a funnel while refilling these fluids. He didn't bother to top up the windscreen washer fluid (on a $500 major service). He also got grease stains on the interior passenger seat. Worst of all, instead of replacing two small metal clamps on a hose ($20 repair) he claimed that a whole assembly needed to be replaced ($500 repair). Fortunately I was able to see through this lie in time. R&H Toyota lives up to the worst stereotypes of the car repair industry and I will never use them again. My experience was comprehensively negative and should act as a warning for others. More
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO GET SERVICED HERE. These people are frauds. I took my Toyota in to get a headlight replaced and an oil change and they told me I needed a battery of tests totalling to $650. Althoug are frauds. I took my Toyota in to get a headlight replaced and an oil change and they told me I needed a battery of tests totalling to $650. Although my car was running fine, I consented. After they did their "necessary repairs," my car started having major problems and several error lights lit up. I took my car to another Toyota service center for a second opinion, only to find that R&H Toyota did not fully reconnect my intake hose, AND overfilled my oil on a routine oil change. I took it back to R&H and they did not take responsibility for their error, let alone apologize, and subsequently tried to blame the problems with the vehicle on me for speculative reasons and charge me for more expensive diagnostic tests. My car, which has been fine for over 170,000 miles, has not been working properly ever since. And all this started because I needed a headlight replaced. They refused to acknowledge that the problems arose from their faulty and unnecessary servicing despite the undeniable temporal relationship between the two. This group of mechanics, technicians, and "service advisors" typifies the bad reputation the industry often receives. They are fraudulent, they lied to me, and refused to take accountability for their mistakes. Don't let the same thing happen to you that happened to me. Take your car elsewhere, or do yourself a favor and purchase a different make of vehicle altogether. More
