The people were very friendly, but it took almost 5 hours to buy a truck with no financing. That is an unacceptable amount of time, even with it being split over 2 days. The sales people kept going over thin to buy a truck with no financing. That is an unacceptable amount of time, even with it being split over 2 days. The sales people kept going over things “just to be sure” and there were young children (1 and 3 years old) who ran out of things to occupy their time after 90 minutes. At what point does common sense kick in when the customer says “I do not want the upgraded warranty, we’ve already gone over it and the check is already filled in…the children are screaming and you’re seriously ‘just making sure’ AGAIN?” We were prepared for a long visit because of trade-ins, but with more than 3 hours the first night, we were dismayed to spend an additional hour and 40 minutes there going over the same exact things as the night before. Covering your bases is fine - but this was overkill. What made it the hardest to handle was that nobody hurried in any way. Nobody looked like they were trying to get this done quickly - they acted like they are paid by the hour and this is all they had planned for today. We are planning to buy a hybrid from them as well in the next couple weeks, and I am so frustrated, I am torn if we are going to return there (our salesperson, Justin, was excellent) or if we’re going to wait until someone else has something we want. I wanted a Prius Prime to take advantage of both the $2,000 Toyota rebate and the $4502 Federal Tax Credit. For whatever reason, Primes are not sold in my home state of PA, so PA buyers are ineligible f $2,000 Toyota rebate and the $4502 Federal Tax Credit. For whatever reason, Primes are not sold in my home state of PA, so PA buyers are ineligible for the $2,000 and $4502!!! After a very exhaustive search of numerous dealerships on the east coast, I hit pay dirt with Heritage Toyota. Jipeng Wang and his sales manager found the car I wanted in another state, got it transferred to their dealership, and prepped it for sale in 48 hours! My wife and I were so happy to finally find a dealership that would put in the effort to find what we wanted (and not LIE to us about availability as other dealerships had done). After the sale, Jipeng both emailed and called me to make sure everything was good to go. I've bought a lot of cars in my 66 years, and never have I had a salesman make such an effort to ensure I was happy with my purchase. Thanks, Jipeng. We've now put 600 miles on the car and absolutely LOVE IT! It is our first Toyota, our first hybrid, and our first plug in.
