Short Review: I wish we lived in or near Harrisburg so we could go to Freedom Toyota for our service needs. These guys are great. Long Review: We were on vacation and as we left Hershey in the afternoon, one of the run flat tires on our Toyota Sienna indicated it was low. We found Freedom Toyota and Dan got us in and out before the end of the day with new tires. Dan was honest and fair with us - he told us that two of our tires still had 8K-9K left on them when he could have tried to sell us four new tires. He was friendly and helpful. The dealership had a nice waiting room where we waited with our four kids and everyone there was wonderful. We really appreciated the fast service and we were able to resume our trip and get back to Connecticut that evening. I can't say enough good things about Dan and the other employees we interacted with. More
My family and I were on an extended trip and encountered a problem with our '08 Sequoia. We Googled and found this dealership along our route. Stopped in to see if they could fix our problem and were OVER a problem with our '08 Sequoia. We Googled and found this dealership along our route. Stopped in to see if they could fix our problem and were OVER-WHELMED by how helpful and courteous they were...this is really a RAVE review about Dan Ward though. Dan carefully listened to my problem and immediately "owned" the problem. He explained that he'd get a temporary "fix" done, order the part and have the new part installed first thing the next morning. Guess what? He did EXACTLY what he promised...and more. Dan realized that we were from out-of-town and arranged for free passes for Hershey Gardens, had a chocolate "care package" sent to our room and even arranged for us to enjoy a delicious cupcake @ the Hotel Hershey! He's now our family's #1 HERO! It's incredibly rare to meet and work with someone like Dan who takes a personal interest in resolving another person's problems. It's even more rare when you consider that there was NO "gain" for Dan or the dealership. We live in VA...not PA. We'd not return to make this our service or sales dealership, and yet he went OVER and beyond to help us. He's a rock star...and deserves a RAISE!!! Your parents did a GREAT job with you Dan. I had a very important work related presentation to make and got up early and went out to my car. Of all days, it wouldn't start. Harrisburg Toyota understood my dilemna and immedialtey sent a technician out to help me with my car issue and I made it to the meeting on time...I know how busy they are, but they went above and beyond to get help me! I have not only had a wonderful experience in this matter, but also when I go in for regular service. I am always treated professionally and attended to promptly, and always with smiling faces. I always recommend this dealer to family and friends-and my sister, who purchased a vehicle from Freedom! More
I purchased a RAV 4 which is only a few months old and I found a burn mark on the back seat. Since I do not smoke and no other passengers smoke I assume it occurred by having the windows open and a passing found a burn mark on the back seat. After speaking with Evelyn she indicated that they could repair the burn but I would be responsible for the cost. She did indicate I could pay what the dealership would pay to have it repaired. I then received a phone call from Kelly asking me to bring my vehicle in to have the seat repaired...to my surprise the dealership did pay for the repair. Needless to say I was very happy. Kelly was very kind and understanding which made my experience a pleasant one. I would like to thank Evelyn and Kelly and the dealership for making me a happy customer. We came in to this dealership with a flat tire 200 miles from home on the fourth of July weekend. Dan Ward was friendly, helpful, and made sure our car was taken care of in less than an hour. Our family was able to make it home from our trip with only a minor delay and no stress. We had heard than run-flat tires could be super expensive and that some dealers charge extra fees just to replace them. We were pleasantly surprised at the price and there were no attempts at any extra fees despite the emergency nature of the service. Thanks for the job well done! More
Took all day for inspection and oil change. I specifically requested first service appt of day and they never finished my car until 5:15. When I scheduled my appointment three weeks in advance, I told them I needed it done as soon as possible and the person assured me she would put me down to be first done that morning and they would call me as soon as it was finished. I dropped off my car the night before so it would be there and ready when they opened. I have young children so I did not want to make them wake up early and just sit in the waiting room while the car was being worked on. At 1pm I get a call that they need to do some service to my car and I approved it also mentioning that I need this done asap and please call me as soon as this is done. At 4:30 I called to see what was going on and they told me it would be done by 6pm giving me the excuse that it needed additional service. I get that, however, if they had started my car first thing as I was told it would be, they would have know this within an hour of starting, not at 1pm. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me at this dealership and I will no longer go back to this service department. Bobby Rahal, here I come! More
