We received a call from Brad ( mngr) about the Toyota trade in deals in August and how we could have a new 2013 xle camry for a few dollars over our current 2009 camry payment. We decided to call when w trade in deals in August and how we could have a new 2013 xle camry for a few dollars over our current 2009 camry payment. We decided to call when we returned from vacation. We met Chris Day ( who sold us our 2009 camry) on Tuesday and the next day I walked out with the new car. It was very fast and pretty painless. The finance people and others were very efficient. Chris surprised me with the car...I was thinking I was getting a loaner for the day while waiting for it to come in. it was a great surprise! Chris went over the audio system with me and we synced my iphone with it, too. ps we ended up spending $100 over our re-financed 2009 camry. More
On 8/10/2013, I took my Toyota Highlander 2010 for oil change at your dealership and had a very worst experience and will not visit your dealership. I had the appointment for 3 PM, and I was there at 235 change at your dealership and had a very worst experience and will not visit your dealership. I had the appointment for 3 PM, and I was there at 235 PM. The service advisor was very rude and instead of welcoming me asked, " what you need". I told him that I had to get the oil change on my Toyota Highlander. He get some basic information, and told me that it should be ready by 345 PM, and he noted that time on the order form, which I initialed. I spent my one hour there and around 340 PM, went back to him and asked him in the status of my car. He said it normally takes one hour thirty minutes to do oil change. I had been to so many Toyota dealerships in my last 15 years, as I always have Toyota as my primary car, and no other place do the oil change in one hour thirty minutes, unless dealership has incompetent technician to do the work. I waited another half an hour and went back to service advisor and asked him the status again and he said it should be pulling up any seconds. I waited........and after 15 minutes, asked him where is the car. The service advisor asked me to provide him my last so that he should pull my record. I provided him my name, cell number, and home number and he was unable to find my information in the system. Every time, he was asking me if my last name ends with CHEK, which was some other customer. He starting running to other counters to find where is my car. After ten minutes, he came back and again asked me for contact information, which I provided him and he again asked the same stupid question, 'Is your last name is CHEK, I said no and in the meantime one lady came and said that is her last name. He said OK; your car is pulling up in a minute. The time now is 445 PM, an hour behind promise time. I asked him again, where is my car and he said give me a minute and after five minute, he directed me to another service advisor and asked me to go to him as he has all my paper work. I went to the other service advisor and he said give me 2-3 minutes; I am printing all the paper works. Around 450 PM, he gave me the paper work and I went to the cashier and paid the oil change charges and came back to the front around 455 PM, and my car was still not there. I waited another 5 minutes and finally at 5 PM, my car was pulled in to the garage. There was no remorse or apology for been so late and the service advisor has no courtesy to even say the work as THANK YOU for your business.I am planning to sent an e-mail to Toyota Corporation to ask them, what is the recommended time a customer should wait for oil change. In Illinois and North Carolina, most (not all) of the Toyota dealership has the advertisement of oil change in 30 minutes, else it is free. How come Russell Toyota did the oil change in 2 hours and 15 minutes? Does there staff need more training or are they slow or incompetent to perform job in a timely manner? More
The sales manager-Matt Bukowski wouldn't honor the internet quote and is very rude. Feels like they do whatever they can to get you into the shop and then rip you off. Be aware! The worst dealership I internet quote and is very rude. Feels like they do whatever they can to get you into the shop and then rip you off. Be aware! The worst dealership I have ever experienced! Don't go there my friends. If you want to buy a Toyota in Baltimore area, I would highly recommend R&H Toyota although I did not buy from them because of they didn't have the model I wanted. I finally bought one from Fritzmall, if you don't minding driving to Gaithersburg. They are very friendly and not fishy. They even allowed me to cancel my order after I signed the contract because my wife thought I should buy a cheaper car. Eventually I persuaded my wife to agree to buy it and we are happy there after... More
The sales rep I had was David Day. Hands down, he is the best rep I have ever dealt with when getting a car. He is very knowledgeable and the best in terms of professionalism and expertise. I went in on Monday 8/5/13 with my sister to purchase a vehicle for her. After taking a look at a couple vehicles and finding one that she liked we went inside to make a deal. When everything was settled,I made the down payment and left my sister to sign the contract. She does not speak that much English so i specifically told the sales associate that we did not want anything extra included in the contract. When i went back to check up on my sister, He was trying to maker her sign a new contract that was worth 3 thousand dollars more then what i originally had agreed on! Full of extras stuff that i did not request! He was also running her credit with different agencies when that was no longer necessary. That had me very frustrated because I felt that they where trying to take advantage of my sister and the fact that she doesn't speak much English, i cancelled everything and ended up not buying a car with them. I do not like working with dishonest people. More
My first experience leasing a car was through Russel Toyota and Dave Day. Car dealerships can be intimidating, but Mr. Day made the leasing experience less daunting. He explained how leases work versu Toyota and Dave Day. Car dealerships can be intimidating, but Mr. Day made the leasing experience less daunting. He explained how leases work versus buying a car, and the options at the end of the lease. I was unsure of what car I wanted at the time, but he took the time to ask questions to figure out which would be the best choice for me. He is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I would recommend Dave Day to anyone thinking about getting a new car. More

Tim was a nice guy - honest and tried to help, but the sales manager would not make the deal which hinged on only 300 dollars. Told me that even before coming down the 300, that he was Loosing 1600 on th sales manager would not make the deal which hinged on only 300 dollars. Told me that even before coming down the 300, that he was Loosing 1600 on the sale of the new car??!! I told him that I did not believe this, as no dealership would stay in business if they lost 1600 on cars they sold. The car that I was trying to buy was a prius C, so a 1600 loss to the dealership on a vehicle like that would be a lot! None-the-less, they let me walk. I called Jerry's Toyota. They were extremely nice. They were not able to drop the 300 either, but they did come down 150 and they gave me a LOT of free stuff, like "free tires for the life of the vehicle"!! up to 150 per tire! Also, free car washes, and many other small things. They were very professional and I would definitely recommend Jerry's to anybody (the one on Belair Rd). I would not return to Russel after my experience. I am a retired State Trooper. Everything that I have stated here is true. Be safe. More
