After receiving several on-line quotes from different dealers, Joe'e email simply told me that he wanted the car buying process to be fun and easy. He definitely delivered. I called several dealers and asked for a specific 2009 Pilot. One dealer never called back and two told me that they didn't have one Once I called Joe, he got the specifics and called me back in 10 minutes with the car I wanted. I had already test-driven the Pilot,so I was ready to buy. He called me back with a price-which was great. I also traded in another Honda I got a great price and a great deal. I never felt pressured or felt pressure or had to haggle. Joe felt like an old friend when the deal was done. I would definitely buy another car from him and would recommend him and this dealer to anyone else. He also set up a time with me after the deal to go over all of the features in the new Pilot. Joe "Ski" Lonczynski: Joe "Ski" is not your typical car salesman. I was extremely skeptical about his online reviews. However, my experience with Joe on the 2008 Honda Pilot that I bought from him in Octob salesman. I was extremely skeptical about his online reviews. However, my experience with Joe on the 2008 Honda Pilot that I bought from him in October 2008 was just as others have described. I worked with Joe over several weeks via e-mail. He kept his word throughout the whole process, and offered absolutely no surprises when I traveled about 45 miles from home to buy from him. For some reason, Joe prefers to treat his customers with honesty and integrity. I refuse to spend hours in a dealers’ showroom playing games with the sales staff. I spent no more than one hour and a half in the dealership with Joe completing the deal/paperwork having already negotiated my deal with him beforehand. (That includes one trip to test drive the Pilot and the second one to complete the remaining paperwork.) Of course, the business managed explained all the expensive add-ons and extended warranty that was available. I politely, but firmly declined and left with my previously negotiated offer with Joe. Since Joe does not work on commission as he told me, but rather earns his salary on units sold, his best interests and yours do not conflict. When I bought my new Accord from them I got the deal I wanted and it wasn't a big struggle or game which made me come back and try their service department. All I wanted was a 5-speed Honda Element. I started my search in Virginia (where I live) and it finally ended with Joe Ski and the Mileone Heritage Honda dealership in Westminster, Maryland. All the other dealers told me what they had and tried to push those on me as "the closest you'll find" to what I wanted. Joe Ski started by asking me what I wanted. When I asked what he had, he said he would find me what I wanted and that would be on the lot when I got there. Now, all the other dealers showed me printout after printout saying that there were no 5-speed manual Elements on the east coast, except the orange one they happened to have on their lot. 5 minutes after Joe and I had hung up, he had found the exact car I wanted. Joe is one of those genuine human beings who looks out for people. He took care of all my needs and all the stress of working this deal out. If Joe wasn't available, his team never just sent me to voice-mail, but answered any question I had. Once I was at the dealership (a drive of over 100 miles and very much worth it) Joe was wonderful with my family, cheerful and friendly. Not only was there no pressure, you almost wanted it to take longer because Joe is such a great host! After dealing with Joe for the car, I dealt with Josh for the financing. Josh took the time to explain everything to me and my family, even going over sections of the paperwork 2 or 3 times. Then, when everything was done and Josh and I were just talking (they're friendly like that) he realized that with my driving habits there was a less expensive warranty than the one I had already signed up for! He rewrote the paperwork to save me money. From the can-do, customer oriented and motivated attitude to the care and consideration in their showroom, I can't say enough good things about Joe Ski, Josh Rogers, and the mileone Heritage Honda team. I would recommend anyone looking for a Honda go to their website if you're far out (like me) or to the showroom if you live close. Either way, they will take care of you and get you the car you want, which is what a dealer should do but most simply do not. Best dealer ever. More
