Can't trust Heritage Honda We purchased an Acura MDX from Heritage Honda, supposedly the vehicle was a "dealer" owned car, and we were the first owners. But when we had a part f We purchased an Acura MDX from Heritage Honda, supposedly the vehicle was a "dealer" owned car, and we were the first owners. But when we had a part fly off of the vehicle and took it to have it replaced which was still under warranty. The car dealership (Frankel Acura) told us this part would not be covered under warranty because there had been body work? What? But this vehicle as we were told by Heritage Honda had been owned supposedly by a dealer owner. When we purchased the vehicle from Heritage they gave us a Car Fax that showed no work had been done on the vehicle. Hmmmm? Then why is the other car dealership mechanic telling us that there was body work done? We ended up having to pay for the part at Frankel Acura and they suggested I go back to Heritage and have them reimburse me for the part, because after less than a week, the new part that had come off prior, was started to peel up again. So, it looks like we are going to be replacing this part a lot. The sales manager at Heritage Honda was not helpful and just commented, "Sorry there is nothing we can do". Needless to say, we are extremely disappointed in this dealership and will not be working with them again. Please pass on that Heritage Honda are not to be trusted. Thank you. More
