Sales Experience Benjamin Morgan met my wife and me as we entered the sales room. We had brought our '09 Honda Civic EX as a possible trade for a '14 Honda Civic EX-L. Benjamin Morgan met my wife and me as we entered the sales room. We had brought our '09 Honda Civic EX as a possible trade for a '14 Honda Civic EX-L. Ben was very cordial and aware of our time constraints, and after understanding that we wanted a test drive and an appraisal for our vehicle, arranged for both very quickly. Some of the tech features on the new Civic needed explaining for our safety, so Ben rode with us during our test drive. The car handled well and we decided to proceed with purchasing the new Civic. We came to a purchase agreement and were informed that our selected car would be brought to the dealership and prepped for delivery to us the next day. Finance arrangements were handled clearly and succinctly with no confusion and much courtesy by Ben, by the sales manager and by the finance officer. This was a very pleasant transaction, and our second purchase at this dealership. More

2014 Honda Accord I bought a brand new 2014 Honda Accord. I was very happy with Rick, he was very friendly and did not put any pressure on my to buy. I also looked at I bought a brand new 2014 Honda Accord. I was very happy with Rick, he was very friendly and did not put any pressure on my to buy. I also looked at a Toyota Camry and Nissan Maxima. At the end of the day the Honda had all of the features that I wanted and Rick listened to what I was looking for. The other dealerships where just showing me what on the lot. There was also much more pressure to buy they tried to have me fill out a credit application or met with the manager, things like that. At the end of the day I came back and bought my new car. I was very pleased with the dealership and especially Rick. I would highly recommend him. I am also very happy with my new car. Although not relevant to a review, it was my first new car where I got everything I wanted with it. I am very happy with my purchase. My first new car I had to make a lot of compromises. More
Poor Communication Resulted in Disappointing Visit Let me preface my comments by stating that my greatest grievance is against Honda in general, for not recognizing my Acura warranty despite the fact t Let me preface my comments by stating that my greatest grievance is against Honda in general, for not recognizing my Acura warranty despite the fact that I purchased the vehicle from a Honda Dealership in VA and was led to believe that I could rely on Honda for my servicing. This resulted in a very long, stressful and unproductive day, and my not getting the service done that was my primary purpose for this visit. That said, despite telling Brianna(?) these details when I made the appointment, I was not informed Honda would not accept my warranty, and the details I'd given her were not recorded and passed on to the service advisor (Brittany). I cite communication as a problem not only for these reasons, but also because this issue resulted in multiple phone calls throughout the day, to include the Honda dealership I purchased it from in an attempt to validate my warranty. Furthermore, I was unable to reach my service advisor for a few hours despite multiple calls for a status, and culminated in an hour+ wait for my return shuttle since no one would communicate with the shuttle driver. While I understand that the warranty policy may tie the hands of this dealership, I believe it could have been handled better, and considering I still agreed to nearly $500 for routine maintenance, I would have expected some discount (I read something elsewhere about a Wednesday Ladies discount?), or some coupon for future service due to a wasted day. I now am facing a 3rd garage visit in less than 2 weeks - did I fail to mention I had learned of the faulty air conditioning while on vacation last week in TN? I paid a mechanic there to identify the problem (which I did not have the time remaining to have repaired there), only to pay Honda for again, despite informing them of the condenser problem from the start (my service advisory disagreed with their findings initially). So no, I'm not satisfied and I doubt I will be back, since apparently you don't work on Acuras under warranty. More
