I was in the market for a new 370Z (college graduation present for myself) and have been researching for months. Not only did Alan get back to me the fastest (within an hour of sending the email), but also offered the best price. Originally I was looking to pick up a 2010 370Z new for invoice price but Alan was able to find me a 2011, just the way I wanted it optioned out and my first color choice for 500 under invoice. Needless to say I was quite impressed. As far as financing went, I expected to meet a little resistance since I decided to go through my credit union. When I talked about the financing they were very understanding and weren't pushy at all. They even admitted to not being able to beat my credit union rates and suggested to stick with them. The day I took delivery came and the whole process was quick, professional, and painless. The car was detailed, Alan walked me through all the features and literature that came with my new Z as well as going on a test drive of the car before even signing papers to make sure I was satisfied with the car. The financing manager I spoke with (Justin) was very professional and didn't push any services or extras on me. He just showed me the options they had available but never pressured me. The whole process from the time I walked into the dealer to driving off was less than 2 hours. Down the road if I am in the market for another Nissan I already know which dealer I will go to. Great place and I highly recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a Nissan. More
When I decided to buy my first new car I had to determine what make, model and color to get. I knew I wanted a Nissan Altima but there were at least 7 Nissan dealers in the area. After seeing a 2010 Altima Coupe advertised on the internet for a good price at Herb Gordon Nissan, I decided to check them out. When I got there, one of the salesmen Jordan, came and greeted me and I told him that I was interested in the 2010. He showed the vehicle to me and I took it for a test drive. Afterward, we talked about price and financing. Since I didn't know if I wanted to buy the 2010 at the price they were asking and didn't have my finance options lined up I decided to come back later. When I came back two days later I talked with Jordan about financing and pricing. After some discussion with Jim, one of the managers, we could not come to an agreement on the price. Even though the 2010 was essentially new, I didn't see the value in paying the price for a 2010 when I could get the 2011 for close to the same price. I told Jim I wasn't necessarily bent on getting the 2010 so he recommended I take a look at a 2011. I spoke to Jordan over the next few days by email as I shopped around to other dealers. Every other Nissan dealer I visited was either very deceptive or too pushy. I just wanted to find the car for the best price I could. One Virginia Nissan dealership came in a little lower than Herb Gordon, but the finance manager there would not give me an interest rate offer until I put my 5k down. I thought that was a little ridiculous. When I asked him what interest rate he thought he would give me he told me that it could be anything, 4%, 6%, 8%, who knows. This made me very uncomfortable. In contrast, one of the things I liked about Herb Gordon Nissan was that Larry, one of the managers, came out and gave me his interest rate right away. Being that I'm a college grad, I don't have a whole lot of credit, but Larry gave me his offer on my first visit to the dealership which showed me that in addition to taking into consideration a credit history, they also reward college grads like myself with the opportunity to buy a new car. Larry from Herb Gordon had offered me a good rate and Jordan had assured me the rate would not change if I decided to buy a 2011 instead of a 2010. After some more back and forth with Jordan through email, I decided I wanted a silver or black 2011 Altima coupe. The problem was they didn't have one on the lot. Jordan assured me they could find the color I wanted. Then next day I visited the dealership and Jim told me he would go to work for me and find the car with the color I wanted. Sure enough, the next day Jordan called me and told me Jim found the car for me. I wanted to make sure everything was settled on price before I came in so Larry got on the phone and we closed the deal over the phone in only a couple minutes. I came in, bought my insurance and Jordan took me to Mark their finance manager. Mark gave me great explanations of what I was signing. He gave me good cause to go with an extended warranty at a decent price and even lowered my interest rate a bit. A few minutes later I was driving away in my new 2011 Altima Coupe. All in all, the whole process could have been a lot harder but the guys at Herb Gordon make it very easy and they'll work with you to get you the car you want at the best price possible. They had told me they were the best right at the outset. Having been to the other Nissan dealerships, I can truthfully verify this claim. This is legitimately a very good dealership to buy a new/used Nissan and I highly recommend these guys. Thanks Jordan, Jim, Larry and Mark. More

The way he explained the process was comforting and we believed that he was doing whatever was in his power to make it work for us to leave with a car that day. When he brought in Mark it was like they were the Superman and Batman of car sales. My mom does everything she can for others so it was great to see others doing the same for her. It took all afternoon but she walked away with the exact car she'd been praying for the past 4 years. And I do mean the exact same car. We leased a Rogue from Mile One a few years ago. Kevin worked with us on arranging the lease, and we were very impressed with him. So, when our oldest car died in Dec., we decided to go back to Kevin and his team again. This time, Jordan was our salesman. He's very knowledgable, professional, and patient, and helped us find a car to suit our needs, the Versa, which the family loves. Kevin worked out a great deal for us, and Justin, who also helped us when we got the Rogue, spelled out all the terms of the new lease. When we left, we mentioned that we'd like to end our Rogue lease a little early, in order to get something bigger, and asked about how we could do that. Jordan and Kevin said they'd keep us in mind if Nissan came up with an offer to suit our needs. Sure enough, about a month later, Jordan called and told us that Nissan was offering a very good deal we might want to come in and talk about. We went back last night, and saw the same team, Kevin, Jordan, and Justin. We got there late, but we got the same wonderful service we've come to expect from these guys. We got a GREAT deal on a beautiful 2011 Murano. It's a pleasure to deal with the folks at MileOne Herb Gordon Nissan. This by far was the best experience I've ever had at a car dealership! I never felt so comfortable and unpressured when purchasing a vehicle. Upon a lengthy decision and test driving and researching many cars, I decided on the Nissan Altima. I started my quest in finding just the right one. It led me to Herb Gordon Nissan. This makes 4 for our family in total. I was confident in dealing with Herb Gordon Nissan again, although it was farther away since I had moved since the last purchase. This time, though,rather than going to the showroom first, I went through internet sales, where I made contact with Muna. I sent him information on the car that I was interested in and asked for a price. He promptly replied and within a an hour or two and we drove down to see the car and meet with Muna the next day. We were pleased at the clean, sparkly showroom and the warm smiles. The receptionist paged Muna and we went to his office. After some deliberating, we agreed on a price. The car was then located and we were on our way. Aside from Muna, we met Van, the GM, Larry, the sales manager, Joe and George from service, and Alan, a salesperson. All friendly and helpful. Muna was called away to attend to his son, and upon our arrival to take ownership, Alan was there and kind enough to wipe down the car and was so nice and friendly until Muna promptly returned. We then met with Justin, the finance manager, who was pleasant, no nonsense and handled the paperwork and purchase smoothly and easily. All in all, we had a wonderful experience, and coming from someone who had never repurchased a vehicle, let alone from the same dealership, that speaks volumes of the Altima, and of course Herb Gordon. I will call on them for my next purchase. I highly recommend anyone interested in a new car, to give them a call. You won't be disappointed. More
Jim provided the level of handholding and understanding that I had never experienced at a dealership before. As I had been associated with the dealership for more than six years (I had bought my previous c that I had never experienced at a dealership before. George had been servicing my previous vehicle, and I always call him whenever I had a problem prior to bringing my vehicle in. I put my 100% trust in George. He goes beyond treating me as just a "customer". His advice to opt for a new vehicle when I had a major problem with my previous vehicle proved to be correct as I am completely satisfied with my new vehicle. More

However, purchasing a vehicle out-of-state is always challenging and risky at times but it has always saved me thousands of dollars. I’ve traveled to different states to purchase a vehicle and I must say not all of experiences have been good. Several months ago I traveled from North Carolina to upstate New York to purchase a 528I from a BMW dealership. I ended up getting a great deal on the vehicle; however my experience of trying to work the deal with an out-of-state salesman was frustrating and stressful. To make matters worse, after arriving at the dealership to purchase the vehicle the customer service was horrible. This time around I located my wife’s 2009 Camry SE at Herb Gordon Nissan through the Auto Trader website. I contacted Alan and spoke with him about the vehicle and over a three day period we worked out the details. Alan was professional and most of all was very honest in describing the vehicle. He even took the time to email me cell phone photos detailing some of the scratches that were not visible with the original internet photos of the vehicle. However, knowing we had to drive 5 hours to purchase the vehicle, I was still very hesitant that the vehicle may not meet my standards. Alan placed a hold on the vehicle and my wife and I made the 5 hour drive on Saturday morning to pick it up. I arrived at the dealership expecting the worst based on my last experience. Thanks to Alan’s honesty and integrity the vehicle was exactly as he described it and it was in far better condition than I expected. I already had my own financing arranged prior to arriving. However, Alan requested my information and forwarded the paperwork to Mark and to my surprise Mark worked with me and was able to get me a better rate then the rate my lender gave me. Mark even gave me a great deal on an extended warranty for the vehicle. While working the deal with Mark he was very personal and friendly and was upfront and honest throughout. I left his office feeling good and satisfied. Mark took the time to see us off as Alan was out on a test drive. To sum up things, my experience with Herb Gordon Nissan of Silver Spring was great thanks to Alan and Mark. I would certainly recommend this dealership and can see doing business with them in the future if I purchase another vehicle from out-of-state. More
