Our story is a bit amazing. We were just about to purchase our 2010 Chevy Equinox from another dealer. At the last minute, we decided to check the USAA website again for anything we may have missed a purchase our 2010 Chevy Equinox from another dealer. At the last minute, we decided to check the USAA website again for anything we may have missed as far as discounts, etc. I must have clicked "send" because not more than 1 minute later, we got a phone call from Kristan Chamberlain at Herb Connolly Chevrolet. She was extremely nice, not pushy in any way, but just wanted to know if there was anything she could do to help us. We discussed price, service, etc. Turns out Herb Connolly was willing to match the price of the other dealer, plus we had the extra reassurance knowing this dealership was recommended by USAA. We were referred to John Gould, who worked out the details of the sale. We ordered the car from the GM factory since we wanted specific options. There were several phone calls back and forth that afternoon to work out the details of the sale, but we concluded with giving Herb Connolly a deposit on our new car!! It was totally amazing to me how we switched from the other dealership to Herb Connolly in a very short amount of time. Our experience in the process of buying was excellent. John kept in touch with us, letting us know the status of the order and kept us updated on when the car would arrive. If we had any questions, he was very quick to get back to us. We went looking for a car and stopped at Herb Connoly's Chevy and was talking to John Gould about the SUV crossover's and he told us that they could not keep them on the lot. We then saw the Malibu in the Chevy and was talking to John Gould about the SUV crossover's and he told us that they could not keep them on the lot. We then saw the Malibu in the show and he then let us take it for a road test. we sat down and talked to him about the the different car and had him get us some prices and fact on them.Atfer about 3 hours and having the information we told John that we have a decision to make and will be back. He said are you sure we can't close it now and we said no. He said have a good day and see you later... We went to another chevy dealer that same day and went in just to look and get prices and once we recieved those we were belittled and felt like we had to make a decision which we were not ready to do. After getting upset and mad we took our keys and let that dealership. If they wanted to give a car we would not take it from them. Lou Bove is a credit to the dealership and should serve as a role model to all new sales people in the auto industry. Anything that needed addressing was quickly taken care of by Lou and the staff. I purchased a used Porsche 996. All items that were needed to make the car as appealing as possible were 100% completed with no squabbles.
