Michael Fernandes at Porsche of Boston deserves to be included in Wikipedia under "Customer Service". His attention to detail, product knowledge, and overall honesty are beyond reproach. Everything is about making the customer happy with their purchase. My car had a minor problem with a clear mask and Michael made sure that it was taken care of to my satisfaction-no questions asked. It is very apparent that his attention to customer satisfaction is cast over the entire dealership in Boston, as not only all his salesmen, but the parts and service departments are very receptive and accommodating. If you are considering any flavor of Porsche, there is no need to go anywhere else other that Porsche of Boston. Ask for Michael and sit back and enjoy the process!!. More

At the first i went to herb chamber to find the car i found on the internet. My sales man was not Mark and Michael, that guy did not satisfied me and he was so unpolited to me. Further, although my business was specifically with the service department, Michael was willing to assist in any way he could. He really understands how to take care of his customers by taking that "one more step." He is one of the most professional personnel I have ever met working in this industry, and his welcoming hospitality is never disappointing. Michael and his associates have a special way of making their customers feel like a family, and I highly recommend their service. More
This past November I was able to purchase my first Porsche Carrera. It is a 2006 C4 with 5000 miles on it. The buying process started off very well, I test drove it with Tim and negotiated the final deal with Michael. Five days after we signed the paperwork, Bank of America still had not sent the money. I called Michael on his personal cellphone and he said he would figure it out. Even though it was Bank of America's fault he immediately stepped in to remedy the situation. My next experience was with the winter wheels and tires. Michael admitted the techs knew far more than him, any questions I had feel free to ask. That is when I met Steve Harrison. Steve is really one of kind and a tremendous asset to Herb Chambers. Before the Porsche I got rid of a BMW due to poor service, so it is something I care a lot about. Steve spent over an hour answering all my questions about wheels, offsets, spacers and tires. He was already working late but he was willing to patiently help a newbie. If I ever need work done, I really hope Steve's schedule is free to work on my car, the guy is awesome. When it came to purchasing the wheels, Jon Egan searched to the end of the world to find me the same wheels and tires that I have now; finding a winter set up in December is not an easy task. After several weeks, he had them shipped from Georgia, Jon was extremely responsive and kept his word from beginning to end. Most recently I had a batter trouble. I called Michael and he had me speak with Nima. It is important to note anyone who may have had a poor experience with service, Nima is now in charge and this is a huge difference. I drove down from NH and he stayed late to make sure the battery was replaced. I would recommend this team to any of my friends and colleagues looking to purchase a Porsche. It is a big decision for anyone. Michael and his team remove all BS and sleaziness I have experienced at other places, they are stand up guys and I look forward to dealing with them in the future. The service center at this dealership is honestly the best with which I have ever dealt. They are so accomidating and helpful in every way. I dealt directly with Adam (Steve was the tech.) on an issue best with which I have ever dealt. They are so accomidating and helpful in every way. I dealt directly with Adam (Steve was the tech.) on an issue with my Cayman S. For some reason, after I purchased it, there seemed to be a drop in power. My friends thought I was nuts, but when I brought to Adam, he and his techs stopped at nothing to find the issue. And guess what? They figured it out! I have to tell you, if more dealers provided the quality of service that this place does, we would all be thrilled to take our cars in just for the overall pleasant experience! Forget all the other Porsche/BMW dealerships on the Boston area. Just save yourself the headache and bring your car here...to Adam! More

I searched all over the U.S. (from California to Texas to Boston) for a 2011 Porsche Cayenn with my decision to go with Herb Chambers Porsche Boston. I searched all over the U.S. (from California to Texas to Boston) for a 2011 Porsche Cayenne, and Herb Chambers Boston was unbeatable! I worked with Mark Webber and he was very kind and patient throughout the ordering process. They know how to professionally deal with fastidious clientele and will hold your hand, if needed, through the entire process. Most importantly there was NO pushing to upgrade or 'add- on' unwanted bells and whistles! Being a woman, it made a huge difference to be treated with respect and not feel that I was outnumbered or 'being taken for a ride.' Mark listened to exactly what I wanted/needed, and did not pressure me into anything. Once receiving my Cayenne, the staff welcomed me to take advantage of their onsite, complimentary car wash service, in order to help maintain my new purchase. I can and will recommend Mark and the entire sales staff at Porsche Herb Chambers Boston! More
All I can say is WOW!!! Michael and Tim were phenomenal...They made the process very easy and serviced the hec out of me...I was made to feel like I was their only customer. I was shopping for a car, but had absolutely no idea what brand or type of car I wanted. I had started looking at cars from Panameras to Boxters to Cayennes, when Tim came over and asked me if I needed any assistance. I told Tim that I did not know exactly what I was looking for, and he kindly showed me several cars and explained the characteristics of each car. He was very informative, with a sense of humor, and after we finished looking at cars, he introduced me to Michael Fernandes, the General Manager. Michael was very helpful, providing me with detailed information about each car and suggesting which cars would fit my lifestyle and needs the most. Furthermore, his high-spirit and professionalism was hard to miss. During the next three weeks following my initial visit, I visited the Porsche dealership six more times before purchasing a 2011 Cayenne S. I never made an appointment, but every single time I stopped by the dealership, Michael and Tim were there to happily answer any questions and provide me with any further information I needed. I was a difficult customer. I asked Michael and Tim to show me several cars and once I had decided upon the car I wanted, I demanded the exact color, options, price, and even delivery date of the car. Sometimes, I changed my mind after the visit and called Michael to inform him of the changes, but he did not seem to mind at all- instead he found humor in my decision making process. Each time I asked for something, Michael and Tim sat down with me for long periods of time and strived to find exactly what I wanted. They showed me what “customer is always right” business practice really means!!! Thus, it is my great pleasure to inform you that Tim is a knowledgeable, patient, and an outstanding sales associate and I had a great experience working with him. Moreover, Michael is one of the most warm-hearted, enthusiastic and attentive professionals I have ever encountered in this field of work.
