We visited the other Mini dealer in Massachuetts before going to Herb Chambers. The other dealer did not really want to talk with us about our trade in and didn't seem all that interested in whether we going to Herb Chambers. The other dealer did not really want to talk with us about our trade in and didn't seem all that interested in whether we bought a car from them or not. We thought that it must just be the way Mini dealers work. We decided a few months later to visit Herb Chambers and see what they would do with our trade in and in getting us the car we wanted. What a different experience it was. Everyone from the girl at the front desk all the way up made us feel like we were valued customers. We had a wonderful experience with everyone we meet and Darnell only made that process more enjoyable by working with us and treating us with respect and helpfulness. We are pleased with the car and feel like we can call Darnell with anything and she will be right there to help and make sure everything is taken care of. We have the car, but she still wants to make sure we are happy and well taken care of and will always call back with answers to any questions we might have. More

Kept to timelines and appropriately managed my expectations I am on the Costco program and had a different experience with another dealer in NJ. Herb Chambers was the only Mini dealer (even though 300 miles away) that is in the program that is anywhere nearby. However, my local (Morristown, NJ) dealer said he's match the Costco deal. However, since I had some good initial phone interactions and some of the speciifcs listed above already in the process, I felt the right thing to do was go with this dealer (even though they are 300 miles away) rather than someone geographically much closer. I don't regret the choice one bit. My only (minor) gripe was the courtesy return service back in to the city which was a little late. That aside, I have never experienced this level of quality in ANY purchase, never mind a vehicle. I am looking forward to seeing my new Mini in a couple of days time. Dr. Cameron Durrant More
I walked in there to buy a Porsche, some things happened and the deal fell through. Not only was Ian courteous enough to pay for gas for my wasted hour and a half drive, on top of offering any beverage shor and the deal fell through. Not only was Ian courteous enough to pay for gas for my wasted hour and a half drive, on top of offering any beverage short of alcohol, but he sat down with me for 45 minutes while we priced out every other car in the chain. After a little coercing, Ian got me to finally take a ride with Norm in a yellow MINI...I fell in love. After hearing the immense knowledge and love that Norm brought to the test drive, i decided the search for the new brand was over, i went with MINI. We got back, after again them offering us drinks or anything thing my girlfriend and i wanted, we searched for a faster, not yellow, MINI. We found my 05 Black Cooper S in Burlington and they went to work ordering it up here. Norm worked with me over the next two days on financing so that i was able to sit here and type this today because he did his best to show me the environment that i wanted to buy a vehicle in. It was only because Ian showed me the way, and Norm took my down the path that i went from owning 4 American muscle cars in 5 years, to buying a MINI. Gotta give a shout out to Marcelo as well, he was great comic relief and made standing around or browsing even half enjoyable. He was a pleasure to be around. I also received the car spotless, with a filed tank, and Norm even hooked me up with a key chain. I write this letter because it's tough to get service like this from anywhere, let alone a car dealership. I would love to work with you guys again, and will i'm sure in the near future. Thanks guys! It was very refreshing to see someone not adding the sales pressure on you. He took care of the paperwork, and even did some paint touchups and maintenance for free. We were very happy with the service we received here. We went over for some maintenance and received prompt service; only what was required, was performed on the car. We also got a flexible extension on the car's bumper-2-bumper warranty, without any hassle. The initial deposit required to hold the car was returned promptly as well. Ask for Rich, he knows his Minis well. More
I moved to Boston last year and I was bumping up against the 36K mile, end of warranty period. With 35,851 miles on the odometer, I checked out the reviews for Herb Chamber, Mini of Peabody, and the Mini dealer in Rhode Island, as they're all equidistant. What I saw were lots of negative reviews for each, which was not confidence building. Hey, it's the web! Even so, I hate to choose from the least of three evils. I decided to go to Herb Chambers Mini. It was a bit closer, and I figured they have volume, which suggested to me that any odd repairs might be easier there. I had to wait about four days to get an appointment that allowed them to give me a loaner. I arrived first thing in the morning, and was greeted by Scott Poirier, Mini Service Advisor. He was great! He knew what I needed, reviewed the work plan with me, and gave me the option of a new Clubman or a Cooper convertible to use as the loaner. Summer? Convertible! After a dash around town in the loaner, I was back at the shop in about 5 hours. That was oil, brake pads, rotors, and an exterior detail. The work was done quickly, the car was clean, and the price was right. The bill totaled $75, and that was for the wax. Everything else slipped in right under the warranty. Here's what else I liked: I knew my tires were getting close, but instead of changing them and added hundreds to the bill, they examined them closely and told me I still had 5K left on them. Seems pretty honest to me. All in all, a good initial visit. More

I paid less for the 2010 Mini than the 2007 Mini I leased three years ago. Salesman Rich Tran is enthusiastic and patient. He worked with me to find exactly what I wanted. With the help of sales manager Ian Miller I got my dream car under budget and with extra features. Over the past three years I have also received excellent treatment from the service department. Mini BMW has the best maintenance program for new or leased cars. Oil changes are included along with free roadside assistance. I Love my Car!!!! More
