I went into this dealership to test drive the Hyundai Elantra 2010 as I have a 2001 Elantra and love it. I test drove the car and decided to figure out how much the car would be and how much financing I Elantra 2010 as I have a 2001 Elantra and love it. Well I sat down with Dave and he had me fill out the worksheet as we discussed the price of the car. The price of the car was horribly marked up to about 20 thousand dollars in order to take the 5 thousand dollars off the car for the "deal" if I traded in my old Elantra and if I financed through them. So I figured what the heck lets see how much I would qualify for their loans as in order to get this "deal" I would need to use them to finance the car. I asked them how much and they asked me what my ideal payment would be. Knowing their tatics that they use I decided to say about 250 dollars or so. When the financing came back the finance guy sat down with me and explained that I didn't qualify for the low financing and that I am looking at a monthly payment of well over 300 dollars. With that they proceeded to tell me that I need to reconsider my options and think about getting a used car even though I told them I didn't want a used car because the new car had better warrentee. I decided to walk out of the dealership at that point. The next day I decided to go to other dealerships to discuss buying the same car the Lemonister and the Natick dealership to my surprise I qualified twice for the financing though the dealership and not only that I qualified for the low rate of 3.9! So as you can see I am pretty angry at Auburn for changing the price of the car and lying to me about my financing situation as I happen to qualify every where else but not in Auburn. Dealing with the sales staff I would never go back to that dealership even though it is a lot closer to my home. More

We visited another Hyundai showroom on Wednesday, May 26th and test drove the Hyundai SE. Although the salesman there was very accommodating, another female negotiating the pricing was very unprofession 26th and test drove the Hyundai SE. Although the salesman there was very accommodating, another female negotiating the pricing was very unprofessional and appeared to be on some sort of power trip. As a result of her behavior, we decided to purchase the vehicle from Herb Chambers. Kym, Ira, and especially Roberto showed exceptional professionalism. Roberto went above and beyond what we expected to make sure that our daughter recieved her graduation gift today by personally delivering the vehicle to our home and spending time to explain all the features to her. We are very pleased with your staff and we think they deserve recognition for making our purchase a quick and painless process. We would recommend anyone to your dealership with confidence. I tried purchasing a Hyundai Tuscon for 3 1/2 months from the Central Auto Group and it was nothing but a nightmare dealing with this dealership. It was one lie after another from the General Manager on from the Central Auto Group and it was nothing but a nightmare dealing with this dealership. It was one lie after another from the General Manager on down to sales people. I finally asked for my deposit back and went to Herb Chambers the following day and it was nothing but an enjoyable experience. My husband and I went to Herb Chambers of Auburn after visiting other car dealerships in the area. I had my eye on a Honda CRV but still was "looking around". I was not too confident in buying a car from them because of a past problem with another Herb Chambers on a warranty issue. But we decided to look at a Tucson. We met with Rudy Mago, one of their Sales Associates. From the beginning, Rudy listened to my reservations and my list of "wants" in a car I would like to buy. First of all, Rudy was a pleasure to meet. He was well groomed, professional,and very personable. He listened to me,then he spoke. That is so important to a customer. Listening. It was a busy day at the dealership (Memorial Day weekend) but he was very attentive. We were offered beverages several times during our stay. We were there several hours. He patiently explained leasing versus buying and we went back and forth with this. My husband and I were on a time restraint due to an appointment. So, Rudy hands us the keys to a white Santa Fe with tan interior which is exactly what I wanted color wise and states " go run your errands and tell me what you think ", so off we go. We were not even thinking of a Santa Fe,I know car dealerships do not want you to leave, but, I didn't feel pressured. As we drove and did our errands we found we really like the car. When we returned to the dealership, the next thing I knew I was "banging the gong" in the showroom. With Rudy, what we talked about in the beginning is what I ended up with. If it wasn't for Rudy's honesty, attentiveness, and listening skills, I don't know if I would have changed my mind after my past experience. But, Rudy has changed my mind.
